This is a very nice speaker and I enjoy each time I use it at home. I bought at the same this JBL speaker and the Bose soundlink mini II - then I certainly would recommend this JBL over the Bose. The sounds are better, louder, sharper, it is cheaper and can also be used as a charger.

This little JBL charge 2 has impressive sound for its size. The bass is surprisingly strong for a speaker of this size. I primarily purchased this to take on bike rides. I don't do the on the road riding thing, but instead ride on green ways and in parks when we go RVing. So, I can't wait to try it out on the Trek. It will fit nicely in the bottle holder. I am not looking to blast out everyone else with this, but instead just have some nice full sound. I am sure it will still turn heads because of its size. I cranked it up pretty loud and it tended to distort. However, that is not the object here. Just to have nice half volume sound is good for me. I don't like head phones of any kind, so this should be fine.

Already bought 4 of these for gifting after I got one for myself. Never fails to impress me on sound depth. Seamless quick connection with my iPhone 5 and iPad air2 all the time. Very well made.

The speaker is very well built, connected to my One plus One with ease. The sound is amazing from this little specker. I did notice the volume output is different depends on which device connected to. Connected to the iPad Air is much louder than the One Plus One. And also the location of the speaker is another factor. I own high end home stereo system and I do enjoy the sound coming out from the JBL Charge 2.

I really love this speaker. I may not be the most discerning listener but I think it sounds great. I like the ability to be able to have multiple devices connected at once, it saves a lot of hassle making sure that the correct device pairs. I listened to more expensive speakers and preferred the sound of this one.

Got a Bose sound link for a gift from Best Buy. Took that back for a jobless charge 2. Better sound.

I bought this speaker for my sister on her birthday. She loves it . the battery lasts the whole day, easy to connect with devices . she left it one day in my house and i was listening to music all day . i didn't want to give it back lol

I originally purchased JBL's Flip 2, which didn't have anything negative about it except for a pretty short battery life, but I ended up exchanging it for the Charge 2. Charge 2 has way better battery life, bass is stronger, and has the ability to charge your devices! Flip 2 is definitely more portable and sounds great, but you get a little more bang for your buck with Charge 2. Get it and you won't be disappointed!

I recently purchased the JBL Charge 2 and am really quite impressed with it. The sound quality is surprisingly balanced, not bloated in the upper bass, or way too bright, it sounds about as good as one could possibly expect from something of it's size and price. I have not noticed any weird artifacts or DSP issues that some report. I'm pretty picky about audio quality too, so if mine was displaying that problem, I'd notice it for sure. I'm not saying none have this problem, but mine does not. Of course the Best Buy employee tried to steer me towards the $50 more expensive and much worse performing Bose model. I said no thanks after hearing it. I refuse to purchase anything with the Bose name on it, because as usual, it costs more and sounds worse than it's competitors and the Bose SoundLink Mini is no exception. The JBL also sounds better than the more expensive UE Boom, and of course the over priced and poor performing Beats stuff. The JBL is a nice unit, that sounds really good for a Bluetooth speaker and is loud enough to fill a big room with no problem.

I was in search for a speaker comparing this to the mini bose they both sounded alike with the jbl winning with a 12 hr battery life and as well could be used as a charger for your phone.

This thing goes everywhere with us! We love it! This speaker blows away beats any day! The battery charger option has been a live saver as well.

This speaker has a great level of sound for the price, and the features and design are well worth the price point. Happy with my purchase!

I had been looking for a portable speaker for the longest and I came across this one. Looks and sounds great!

I have the Charge and really like it, so I bought the upgraded Charge 2 for the phone feature. I read a review or two that the Charge 2 doesn't get that loud, but I have to disagree, this unit can pack a punch. Great sound at high volume without distortion. its a little longer and heavier than the charge. The usb charging port was moved to allow music flow from both end, where the previous model had it on one end of the speaker. It provides for better sound than the charge, but I liked the table top space saving option to place it horizontally without affecting the sound quality. Overall a very nice unit for the price and 50 dollars less than its closest competitors.

By far better than the Beats pill no contest. My son's both went to get one after hearing mine.

I use this for those times I shave and just want to JAM OUT alittle in the Man Cave. A little to much Bass to my likings but it works excellent with GREAT SOUND and WIRELESS. Great Add On
