Best Bluetooth portable speakers on the market. Handz down

I've tested a LOT of small BT speakers. This has much better bass response than anything else in the portable size category. I was also shocked at how much better battery life it has over the others.

This is a full-featured bluetooth speaker that has all the bells and whistles that you would want. It sounds great and has good bass. The battery is very good and long lasting. The only thing I don't like is the max volume seems kind of low for a speaker of this size.

Its a great little speaker for the price (bought on sale for 80) and has good battery life.

I would easily give this awesome sounding speaker 5 stars, if not for a couple things. Most importantly is the volume buttons. They do not lite up like the other buttons, and are only marked with the a raised plus and minus, with no contrasting color(black on black). So in low light you basically have to know exactly where the up and down volume buttons are. I marked the volume buttons with a silver sharpie just to not guess every time. Its a very bizarre design flaw if you ask me. Also the woofers on the ends seem very fragile for something portable, that easily rolls if knocked. A little more battery life would be nice, seems like it runs down pretty quick. GREAT SOUND though. Still reviewing the product, but so far, i'll take two of em.

The design is cute and the sound quality is satisfactory. The price is a little expensive. But, it is worth.

I purchased this speaker yesterday because I loved my roomates charge 2. The one I purchased sounds horrible. The sound is so garbled and distorted, it sounds like a cheap knockoff of my roomate's. After researching I'm sure this is because the firmware is 1.32. 1.41 fixed all the issues but jbl does not allow customers to flash new firmware to this device. Jbl will do it but I'm sure I'll be without my speaker for months. I'll be returning this and buying a different brand of speaker as there is no way to verify the firmware version without turning the unit on and holding the pair button and volume+ button for several seconds. If you're lucky enough to get a charge 2 with firmware 1.41 you have a great sounding speaker. Wish I would have been.

The sound on the speaker is pretty loud and the bass is nice but its not as loud as the UE BOOM. and this speaker is really basic, there are no apps to control the equalizer or set it as an alarm or anything and you can't update it either. JBL claims that you can get 12 hour battery life and charge your device but mine lost 40% battery level at medium volume in one hour. so far, the only use i have for the JBL charge 2 is to charge my UE BOOM. if you want a good speaker with an app, loud, clear, etc. spend the extra $50 and get the UE boom, its way better and its water resistant.

I tried the beats pill, and it cannot even compare to the sound and bass from the jbl.

This was purchased as a gift. I bought them for the office and since I bought three of them, I received an additional $10 off each. This made it very competitive.

I love the bass it puts out and the volume is nice and loud. Great purchase!

This is a great speaker with good bass and clarity. I highly recommend it especially when it goes on sale.

I originally went to Best Buy to buy the Beats Pill. After listening to it then listening to the JBL Portable Bluetooth Speaker, the choice was clear. JBL all the way!!! I would pick this over Beats 100 times out of 100!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother. It sounded pretty good but the Harmon Kardon version was on sale at a great price, so I upgraded him to that one.

This was recommended by a sales person at one of our local stores. Loved it so much, bought another one for my wife.
