I purchased this Speaker as a replacement for the original JBL charge which I was very happy with but lost on the beach. Pro's: Great audio quality, battery life and features. Splash resistance was an added bonus. Con's: Did not come with a case like the previous model, rubberized skin gets grimey easily, no app compatibility with some of the JBL apps available for other newer models.

This JBL speaker has out performed the previous beats pill, that I used to own, in every way. The speaker hold a good charge for continuous play, water resistant, able to charge my phone and the feature to hook up 3 devices at one time it pretty awesome.

I bought a Bose Mini link thinking this was the best choice but something was missing. I went back in to check on the Options available and noticed the JBL Charge. Compare it to the rest of the field and then Head to head with the Bose. Oh, boy. This was a revelation for me. The sound was so much deeper. Tha Bass more pronounced and tight and the Soundstage much better. That was only for the sound, then I realize this one hos more then DOUBLE the Battery Life (Whopping 12 Hours!), you can connect 3 persons taking turns showing off your tunes (Great for Parties) AND you can charge your phone/tablet with it (although the Battery will take a dip - still a great option to have). Wanting to have this by the pooside? to the beach? or afraid somebody can spill drink aver it? No Problem. It is splash proof!. Also you can have it Horizontal or vertical. All in all Just an overall better, more rounded concept than the Bose and saving some money in the process. JBL has a sleeper here. I was able to sell the Bose Mini Link and get myself a nicer Speaker . Not bad speaker at all. Just the JBL is simply better.

I purchased this speaker along with the UE Mega Boom. While this speaker has pretty good sound, it wasn't enough for me, so I returned this one and kept the Mega Boom. If you're looking for a defeat Bluetooth speaker in the $150, then this one should be sufficient. Bass and overall sound is pretty good for the price.

This speaker sounds good for its size! It has a warmer sound as opposed to tinny.

My family and I love this speaker! The sound it puts out is absolutely amazing. We take it to the golf course, put it out on the deck or by the pool, and even just listen to it in the house. It definitely blew my expectations out of the water!
