It's with her at the beach now. Read the reviews and bought the JBL Charge 3 speaker. Worked great. Connected with Windows Phone, Android tablet and iPad. Sound is something great for small speakers. Easy volume control from the Charge and the device that is connected. Thinking of buying another for lots of sound.

Versatile remote speaker and works well

We used the JBL unit as an extended speaker phone and he was able to hear the meeting and participate. In addition the unit supports Bluetooth connections very easily AND it still allows an audio cable input. Praises go to JBL for not obsoleting older technology.
