    Got this on sale. I needed something portable that I can take in my backpack. It’s plenty loud enough but it lacks deep bass.I guess my H&K speaker spoiled me.

    I previously had the charge 2+ which I was pretty happy with. Had to get a replacement speaker after it was stolen from my car. I've had the charge 3 now for about a month and use it every day. Great balanced sound. No distortion even while cranked up and a more natural sound. Great value and better sounding in my opinion than the bose soundlink II.

    I bought this speaker because I needed something battery operated, with an actual input line that would also charge another device. It was very hard to find a speaker with all 3 elements. It's very easy to use and has great sound for a portable speaker. I haven't tried to pair anything with it or use it as a speaker phone so I can't comment on that function.
