    This JBL I love the sound of this speaker. The reason I am giving it only one star is that after five years using it, my 9-year-old son, who was in our room putting away his clothes while I was in the laundry room, started to scream "mom, mom come hurry". When I got there the speaker, which was not been used, got fire while it was charging. It burned our carpet and the room was penetrated with its smoke smell for about 4 or 5 days, it even hurt my throat for a couple of days. Rather than that the speaker was great!

    Compact size and waterproofing make this a very appealing speaker, but the performance is reduced because of those same things, item was returned for a bigger one.
