Good for closed room. Sound quickly fades out in open.

Using two of these instead of an outdoor system by my pool.

I actually like JBL. I have a Pulse 2 but it's bluetooth connection sometimes will just drop and will not come back. With the Charge 3 I experienced Bluetooth issues right away. I exchanged it with Best Buy and have not had a chance to try the new one.

I purchased this speaker thinking that since it is JBL it will be loud enough to enjoy small parties at home. Since it was not available on display anywhere at BestBuy, I purchased it after reading online comments. Its a nice speaker but not worth of $160.

This is my second JBL speaker. Wish bass was stronger.

Bought this speaker 6 months ago and it really does put off good sound. The problem is that the speakers blew out after only 6 months of limited use. We maybe used it a couple of times a week and just for basic music around the house, nothing super loud. Very disappointed in the results as we really did like the speakers. I guess we'll have to get the warranty next time.

Great item. I would highly recommend this to others.

My only issue is that I wish it was a little louder.

Great speaker , well designed . connected easily..

I’ve had it for about 3 days and I have to say, the speaker is pretty great as far as sound and size. The 6000MAH battery that’s built in barely charges the phone and drains the speakers battery incredibly fast. The speaker is waterproof up to 3ft, but I submerged in in 5 inches of water for less than 2 minutes and the speaker stopped working. It made static and popping noises and kept turning itself on and off. Either the speaker I got was defective or it’s really not waterproof. Other than that I would recommend the speaker, but i would test it before you keep it.

I've gone through 3 of these speakers through product replacement. All of them have eventually had a faulty charge port. The speaker works wonderfully but eventually they all stopped charging.

I have several JBL bluetooth speakers (Jambox, JBL Clip,JBL Charge3) This Charge 3 has started to skip or go in/out while connected to any bluetooth item. (phone, google home) I've had it for 7 months! That's very disappointing. Can't return it to Best buy. Will contact JBL to see if they have a manufacturer warranty since all 3 speakers from them are doing the same thing. UGH!

I bought this after reading tons of reviews, and comparing different BT speakers. I got home charged it, then started playing music from it. The vocals and all sounded muffled. I messed around with the setting and still wasn't satisfied. Returned and got a different brand recommended by a sales associate. It was like night and day compared between the 2, and I even bought the lower model (the jbl flip version)of the other brand compared to the charge. Couldn't be happier with exchanging this for a different brand.
