The sound is ok but not great. Too expensive for the quality of the sound.

OK if you want it to look cool but the smaller version sounds just as loud.

The speaker itself is not loud enough to be used in settings where there are large crowds. The device is rather small compared to others, but I purchased it based on reviews. If you want to use it in a small room then it might be for you. I intended it to be for gatherings.

This is probably the best speaker I have heard and used so far. I love it! I have zero issues with it. It is definitely worth the money. I am hoping to get the xtreme next. The music is clear and the bass is just right. If you love music and looking for clarity with the right amount of bass then this is the one...trust me! It is perfect for playing music indoors. I have compared it to the ue booms and the bose soundlink and the charge 3 won. I didn't even know it had a built in powerbank until I got it. I charge the speaker maybe once a week and I use it daily. A must have!

This item is supposed to be water resistant. It's not. A very small amount of water got into my speaker and it's ruined. Also the sound quality isn't that great. You can hear the difference between JBL and Beats.

I've never been into the sound of small Bluetooth speakers but this certainly changed my mind. I bought this for a trip where i would be doing a lot of hiking and not have access to a charger very often. The waterproof design was a must and excellent sound quality and good battery life were mandatory. This exceeded my expectations. The sound quality both indoors and in an open space is great and it is plenty audible. I was going to buy a UE Boom which was a little louder but it did not sound nearly as good as this Jbl

JBL???? This is more like a chinesse speaker with JBL dress ..... battery dies after 3 hours of playing at medium volume... bad sound. My cell phone pay music better than this JBL.

This was our second round of buying a portable speaker for my son. Our first one was the beats pill. We were not as impressed with the item, and it broke down pretty quickly. :/ I was shorter on cash, and we opted for this very cool looking speaker. It's been months since purchasing.. Great sound quality, reliable, easy to use, great price, and the waterproof part is pretty amazing. My son shot at it with a water gun and I freaked.. But it did absolutely nothing to this resistant speaker. Two thumbs up!

Bought this for an early Christmas gift for myself after listening to my daughter’s charge 2. Wonderful sound and easy set up. Very portable. Might buy another.

I was unable to get the wireless speaker to work with my computer. The instructions that came with the speaker is minimal and of no use that I could find.

Man, this thing is loud. Like fill up your backyard loud. Very little distortion at high levels. Bass is solid. Lose a little clarity on the hi end at low volume, but the the speakers are tiny so not sure what you’d expect. Still sounds like a Bluetooth speaker, but by far the best sounding one I’ve ever heard. Built like a tank. If you are in this price range, get it.

Brand new in the package and does not charge unless the charger is connected. Have to return

This is a great Bluetooth speaker for in doors and out. I use it washing the car, cleaning house and while fishing. The sound is true and clear it is very loud but at max level there is no distortion.

I had this for about 2 weeks and 1 of the speakers blew. Not acceptable for the steep price point. I returned this. Stay away!

Only worked for 45 mins, heard a click and it quit. Store let me return it, but I paid a little extra and got the Bose speaker. Love it!!!
