This speaker has great quality sound, water resistant, and good battery life. What more can you ask for?

This JBL Charge 3 is what it is advertised to be. Loud, portable, versatile and just down right awesome. It has a very crisp sound (vocals) at loud volumes. The bass isn't too over powering but is nice enough to listen to. Which is also why I am only giving this a 4 star. The sound quality and overall performance are nice but then it does sound a little muffled on certain songs with more bass. Comparing it to the Sony XB30 at Best Buy, the Sony has a more clarity overall but not having bass I went and purchased the JBL Charge 3. But in my opinion, I believe the Jawbone Big Jambox is better than these 2. Me being a music producer and very picky with how i hear my sounds, i like one that has clarity, bass, and overall good sounds.

After reading many reviews I decided to go with this speaker. Many reviewers said this was better than the Beats speakers and they were right. If you live a bass heavy sound this is the speaker for you. Also plenty loud enough to use for parties in or outdoors.Only four stars because I noticed some of the highs weren't too crisp, but not at all muffled.

Sounds great, can connect two at a time! Waterproof! Battery lasts long!

Purchased last week and it has be on all the time we are home, inside outside,in the truck too. After listening to so many speakers I narrowed it to 3 but after seeing all the features side by side and listening to them in different stores I went for the charge 3. It connects better than I thought, the sound is great inside or outside.

Bought this speaker after the $30 price reduction to $120. I'm a 60- something year old and had zero difficulty making this thing work right out of the box, both from iPhone 7 and Yamaha receiver. Before breaking it in, I played a couple of songs from YouTube. Ick. Low-fi sound through this speaker will not satisfy folks that might be prone to listening too closely. Next, I connected it to a Yamaha RX-A760 receiver using CD files from a 256 gig thumb drive. I played a variety of classic rock and jazz songs through it while it's breaking in. The sound is good for its intended purpose. This is not the speaker you'll sit back with your eyes closed. It is the speaker that you'll be able to put in different locations and get treated to halfway decent sound. Sound is biased towards midrange. No sparkly highs or thundering lows. No three dimensional imaging. No trumpet 'blat', or raspy saxophone. Decent sound. I like the fact that it will play while connected to the power source. I would buy this item again - as long as it was on sale.

I had the Charge 2+. This Charge 3 is just amazing! The sound quality is second to none. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. Bass...Mids.....Highs..... all just a great tune of everything. From low volume to all the way up will impress you. Sounds better than most bigger more expensive speakers on the market today!

I couldn't decide on whether to get a Bose like my son (who has had his for 3 years now) or try something else a little less expensive. The sound of this speaker is great. - Compares identically to the Bose, $50 less and water resistant so we were not afraid to take it to the beach. Would definitely recommend this one....

Awesome sound quality and great convenience. Battery stays charged for a long time. I bring this anytime i am going on weekends away.

Louder than I thought it would be the demo in the store was quite week so I got an awesome Sony speaker but it went out on me within 6 hours so I picked up this holy cow it's loud and the bass is amazing I can't imagine how loud the xtreme gets

I got this speaker during the summer whenever I go to the beach and I have to say that its worth every penny. Sound quality is good. It got a good bass. And most importantly, it is water resistant.

This is a great speaker, nice design, very good sound, and long battery. I'd give it five stars, except I bought it to replace a JBL Charge 2, and the Charge 2 sounds a bit better while being even smaller and more portable. But the battery life on this one seems a bit better. Whichever you get, Charge 2 or 3, you'll be happy with it.

This definetly upgrades my JBL Charge 1. Great sound, double drive bass for extra punch. Descent bluetooth connection distance and battery life. Overall it is a great product.

got it for my mom since the breaks everything and get phones wet so it was good since its waterproof and i used it for a party very load battery last for a long time

Bought this for our son, he plays music all the time. Bluetooth connects quickly. This battery on thing last for days with substantial play.

If the packaging and durability correlate, then this has to be the best speaker in the world. It sounded very good in the store.
