It is a little bigger than the last version which I don't like, It is water resistant which I love. Sound is similar. My daughter took my last one to college with her so I bought this one to replace. Side by side I would have picked the charge 2 but it was no longer available. Still, this is a solid speaker and well recommended.

My son had the previous and smaller version. It sounded awesome, so I asked for one for Father's day. It sounds truly amazing, with excellent base. It connects via Bluetooth very nicely/automatically. I see nothing bad about this speaker. You can put it in a backpack if you want. You can take it anywhere, great for movies with a friend or spouse on the laptop. Solid build, high quality, very attractive, solid/easy buttons.

I love the sound quality. I use this speaker for my restroom (aproximaly 16x16). The sound is amazingly great for the size of the JBL. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this speaker for my son as a Christmas gift. He listens to it all the time. Have to admit that I was surprised with the good sound quality for such a small speaker and how loud it can go, plus it's water proof.

An excellent bit of kit from that surprises everyone that hears it. As good as it is, once paired with a device that uses an equalizer (such as Noozxoide-EIZO) this device becomes quite extraordinary. Room filling sound that needs next to no maintenance as it's battery life goes way beyond what I expected. There isn't much you could expect from a Bluetooth speaker that the JBL Charge 3 doesn't deliver in abundance.

This speaker does everything they say it does, sounds great, seems like it would be worth $150ish but got mine for way less during Black Friday. A great product!

I have had this for around 7 months now and I haven't had a single issue with it! I love this speaker; from the quality, to the fact that I can charge devices with it. I have absolutely 0 complaints about the Charge 3 and I look forward to seeing what great products JBL comes out with in the future! Would definitely recommend! (P.S. Water Resistance is a huge plus around splashes or accidental spills!)

The JBL Charge 3 is a fantastic speaker. It is incredibly rugged, is waterproof (and floats!), and has great sound. While it doesn't have the most ounchy bass, it is more than adequate for a speaker as small and portable as this. Add in the USB out to charge your devices (though it uses the speaker's battery which may be smaller than your phone's), and you've got a very good speaker

Pretty good little speaker this is. I use it when I travel through airplane and do not have much room for a large speaker. Packs some volume and bass with it. Has a USB output so you can charge your phone while listening to music. Battery life wise, I would say it could last up to 6 hrs of non stop music, full volume. Overall, it is a great Bluetooth speaker for the money.
