The JBL Charge 3 is a handy Bluetooth unit that will be easy to take on a trip or hike and seems to have a great ability to maintain a charge. It has a USB port to allow charging of other devices and an auxiliary input as well. The unit is advertised to be waterproof, but I haven't tested that capability. The only drawback to the device for me seems to be a reduction (at times) in high and mid-range sound output while listening to some musical selections. I downloaded the JBL apps associated with the device, but they have no EQ tools. Apps are available for this type of thing, but it's inconvenient that the JBL apps do not provide this capability.

Nearly 40 years ago the first speakers I bought were JBL’s & they’re still in use today. When I saw this portable Bluetooth speaker by JBL, I knew that if they were 1/2 as good as my original JBL’s, I’d be a “Happy Camper.” Well, I’m very much a happy camper. The sound is great, connectivity is flawless & the speaker appears to be very well made! Good job “James B. Lansing!”

We were looking for a blue tooth speaker to take with us on a beach vacation and I first bought a Bose Bluetooth speaker and was very dissappointed in the sound quality. I ended up returning it to Best Buy and one of the associates helped me pick out this JBL speaker and I couldn't be more pleased with the sound quality and loudness of this speaker. It's easy to pair and very portable.

I love this speaker! Seriously. A friend had one and loved hers so I decided I needed one as well. It's strong enough to have a decent sound and small enough to be very portable. It is going to make a big difference in the music I am able to listen to while lounging outside. If you are on the fence, take the jump - you won't regret it.

Checked out some YouTube videos today comparing the JBL charge versus others. I went to the local Best Buy store today to hear them in person. The JBL charge sounds great and I am very impressed for a moderately priced Bluetooth speaker. I'm a fan of JBL audio products and have shown this product off too many friends. Two others have also purchased. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

Got one of these several months back to use in the bedroom to stream music. It sounded great. So great in fact that we went out and bought a second one! Have one on each side of the bedroom and they link up via JBL Connect and play in stereo. Individually they sound great, but together they sound absolutely amazing. Very happy with the purchase.

This is by far one of the better speekers ive seen i just wish i would have waited one month socicpuld have gotten the 4 but other than that its great, i bring this into work evryday and all my fellow employees this its awsome it has a really good base and top noch sound i recommend this to evryone. And the price was really reasonable.
