I have friends who own the flip from JBL and found the sound to be great and it was water resistant. That quality was attractive because I was interested in using this product mostly outdoors. It is bigger and heavier than I expected but the quality is better than expected, also. I am very satisfied with the product.

It's truly a great speaker, it's compact but still loud.

Wife wanted a portable speaker for Christmas, after reading reviews I though this would be a good choice. Seems like I was right, sound from this speaker is very nice and battery seems to last forever. Its just what she wanted as she can bring it to work or wherever she goes. I find her constantly using it and enjoying it. I would purchase this again

Speaker sounds very clear and if you put the volume all the way up it’s clear and it sounds great and for the price even better!

Love this thing. We listened to all of the other speakers in the store and this was the most rounded and has good bass. It sounds even better at home. Took it on vacation last week and used it in hotel room. Worked perfectly and the power lasts forever. We plug the IPod into it so it stays charged while playing. The battery seems to last forever!

Bought this as a gift for my son. He loves it! Had previously purchased a few of the Charge3 models for other family members for Christmas and was surprised on how good those sounded. This unit is no different. Great all around sound and good volume. Does not sound tinny like other popular\comparable\higher priced speakers. Holds a charge well.

I just wanted something to project sound from iTunes on my phone and this works well! Great for my apartment and by the grill.

This is my 2nd JBL CHARGE speaker, I bought this and the charging cable/ charging block was not in the box However I used my other to charge this AWESOME BEAST I love these speakers, I love Metal and hard rock and these sound AWESOME Price is very Spot on, blows away any BOSE or BEATS, BEATS is just a fad and a name cause oh it's Apple now, oh I have to go and spend so much money just to be cool, oh look at me I have a 300.00 BEATS PILL that my Mommy bought for me so I can be Johnny COOL, KOOKY hipsters ruin everything, forget about it, JBL and SONY are way better . Just do the right thing, buy it for the sound, not the HIPSTER COOL factor, I thought hipsters did there own thing, not follow everyone of them Anyway, enough about conforming LIB Hipsters buying APPLE stuff, maybe next they'll put a Pabst Blue Ribbon label on one, wouldn't that be cool?? Hipsters would go crazy over those, Apple are you listening?? Anyway, you won't be disappointed with this AWESOME BEAST Oh, and a side note: I emailed JBL about my missing wall plug and USB cable the day I got it, they overnighted me one!!! Who does that?? Would Beats or Bose?? Doubtful, highly

The speaker is loud and durable.. very waterproof.

Good sound for my smaller rooms or for the park. Not sure I would want it to use for a large area, but it works great for me.

JBL has done a fantastic job with this product, and it's easily the best bluetooth speaker in its category. After trying everything in this price range and size, I'm very impressed with the Charge 3 (battery life is absolutely astounding!). Would definitely buy again.
