I looked at a bunch of speakers before choosing this one. The JBL has a higher and louder bass that the others I have listened to. The UE Boom was close and the Bose was a bit better but much more expensive. I would recommend this to others.

This speaker fell off my bike and fell to the concrete street while moving at about 15 mph and didn't receive a scratch and it kept playing with no problem. I plan to use this speaker during RAGBRAI (a week long bike ride across Iowa) the last week of July, and on many of my training rides in preparation for RAGBRAI. If it will continue to operate flawlessly for up to 5 hrs of biking per day through RAGBRAI, I'll be upping my rating to 5 stars.

This JBL blue tooth speaker is a fantastic buy! Water resistant, durable, first time I ever purchased this brand and this type of speaker for my smart phone. Love it! Will tell all my friends about it and to buy one from Best Buy!!!

Excellent speaker love that it's waterproof. Or use the speaker when riding on my motorcycle for directions to music it does very well. I bought the JBL charge when it first came out and this is a definite improvement for a fair price.

I read many reviews and went back and forth on what bluetooth 4.x device to buy, The Harman Go+Play and the charge 3 were the finalists. The reason I went with the JBL Charge 3 is because ion the stereo synching mode, Most units do not separate stereo (left and right channel) but play a a mono version or extended mono version when you buy more than one unit., Music was not meant to be mono or simulated stereo. This unit delivers. Yes, there is units that sound better when played as one but running two of these in stereo mode displays music as intended,

I had a JBL Xtreme and wonderboom... I’m impressed by how loud the Charge 3 is. Sound is good and has good clarity, the bass is just not as deep as the Xtreme, but the Charge is perfect as it is much more compact.

The JBL speakers I have had including the JBL Flip and this one have proven better quality than the Beats Pill I have which no longer connects to any phones after only a year. In turn the JBLs have lasted way longer than that.

My wife uses it with Samsung Galaxy tablet. It has very rich sound and you can listen to it everywhere: in the kitchen, shower or outdoor. I'm thinking to buy another one to have theater sound: JBL has the ability to pair them together.

This unit sounds great and lasts a long time, Bluetooth paring is easy and the sound is good.

I’ve had this speaker for awhile now & it’s life. I take it everywhere. I love that’s it’s waterproof, mines been submerged in the water and still holds the same quality of sound now. Battery life is long as well.

Though is does not have much bass the sound quality is very clear and great for travel and easy to carry around. I bought this for my nephew who wanted to carry a blu tooth speaker that would fit in her hand bag.

This speaker has by far the best sound drivers in my opinion. Music on the device sounds true and full. I do think it does lack a bit of hi end but not really a big concern. Overall great portable speaker that lasts throughout the day.

This is a fantastic buy, especially for the price. This item is much more expensive on other sites and places. The sound quality and volume are amazing on this device. For a hundred bucks you will not find a better wireless speaker.
