They're waterproof now?! What?! I have two of the first generations that aren't waterproof and I liked them very much. One was "borrowed" by my kid and never came back so I had to replace it. After picking this up, it was hard to be mad I had to buy a new one; great sound, can take it anywhere without babying it (like the non-waterproof ones). I love it!!

Coming from a Bose Soundlink that lasted me 6 years before biting the dust, I can honestly say I have no regrets jumping over to JBL. The sound is great, the battery life is great, and the ability to charge my phone while using it has become indispensable for my lifestyle. Don't hesitate, this is a great bluetooth speaker for the money.

This was purchased for my daughter who loves this speaker. She can take it anywhere she wants, and the sound quality is very good.

This speaker has good sound and bass. Just the right size, can carry it from room to room and out on patio. Salesman recommended it and it was a great buy for the price.

We have several Bluetooth speakers including Bose and Harmon Kardon this JBL Charge III is just as good and it's waterproof. We use it in our bathroom where it gets extremely humid and wet, without fear of damaging the speaker. It goes to the pool and beach as well. This speaker has good bass and holds a charge for a looooonng time. Awesome speaker!

Bought 2 JBLs for Christmas gift, once opened we synced both of them to one another. Excellent sound for size and easy to use.

Its pretty loud and not heavy so I can always take it to parties. I also love how it can charge my phone while I listen to music

What a great speaker. Had it in backyard for a party. Geat sound and could be heard from 20plus ft away. It's waterproof and will last for about 20 hrs. Everyone had good things to say about it. It's cheaper than the Bose or other types of speakers. Test it out for yourself and you will hear the difference. Also has a slot to charge your cell phone too.

Love the waterproof and dust resistance and battery life great. I listen to it constantly and the battery last me two weeks. The sound is great, a little heavier on the low end.

The JBL Charge 3 is a bit pricey, but well worth the expense. Very easy to connect; the sound is clean, clear with ample bass.

Easy to set up and pair with devices. Holds a charge for a really long time. Purchased for my husband’s birthday. He loves it!

Bought this for my wife to jam on and she loves it. Great sounds, love the bass. Awesome speaker! Might be buying my kids one since they try and take hers all the time. We have had no issues connecting any of our phones and are impressed with the battery life/play time. Very pleased with JBL's pricing and quality.

This little guy sure is hard to beat for portability and flexibility that it offers. I bought this for a vacation trip to Denver over the summer and it served us well. We did the Air BNB thing and used it while BBQ'in on the back deck, hotel rooms, hanging out on the porch, wherever. No, it's not reference quality sound, but definitely passable considering you are outdoors and the size of it. Tested several others from UE, Sony, etc. and think this one hits the sweet spot for sound vs. price.

Very pleased with sound and being waterproof is a plus. Don’t plan to test it but good to know when your at the pool or lake.

Took this speaker on a float trip, although the description said it was water proof i didn't want to chance it. But half way thru it went into the water still playing. Didnt realize it until we heard it muffle. Pulled it out, shook it off, and music continued to play. A lot of bass and very clear vocals. Great speaker for any occasion.

I love this speaker...it fills my Yoga studio with a great sound and i can also take it to the beach...it's water resistant!

After much research, I ended up getting this unit over the newer Charge 4. These were on sale, so I decided on this one over the newer Charge4. I am not disappointed. I purchased two, one for my wife and one for me. I love that you can connect them both together and get true stereo sound. Or you can chose party mode to have them play the exact same things together. Note: There is a software update, DO NOT UPDATE if you plan on using the stereo mode. The update changes the sound (for the worse IMO) and eliminates the stereo ability. I actually tried the update, and returned the first one I purchased because of the worse sound (you can not switch back to the previous software). The update does allow you to connect to other NEWER JBL speakers, but I dont need that function. Awesome sound, and waterproof ability (I will use while kayaking) is what sold me on these. Also, some reviewers claim the Charge3 sounds better than the Charge4. I have not compared them, but I am totally happy with the Charge3. Get them while they are still on sale/available!

I'm not the most tech savvy person so take my review with a grain of salt, but I found this definitely meets my needs! It pairs easily with my devices and is the perfect little travel shape. The sound is great! It was important for me to have a device that also allows you to answer and take calls over the speaker which this does seamlessly.

I love this speaker great sound and battery life is perfect also a plus that it can charge my phone definitely recommend.
