I went back and forth on various speakers and love this one. It is loud. It is clear. It is water proof and it has a great battery. I got this model on sale so saved a few more dollars. People constantly steal it at work for their desk. I can attach it to my Echo dot and it works great.

Had the Charge 2 and liked the size and look of it better, but the speaker blew and I had to upgrade to this version. Still getting used to it, but it does have more play time. Love that the warranty plan actually worked!

I was looking for a good portable speaker and i am glad i found this one. I must say a great battery life and awesome sound quality. For me, Its an outdoor-friendly portable Bluetooth speaker that packs a considerable bass punch. For this price, Its amazing.

Speaker gets quite loud and connects to Android with no problem. Battery life of great too.

I got this speaker for my pool area and It really works well. I found it works better placing it on a flat hard surface. This helps the bass. It’s loud enough to my whole backyard and I find myself turning it down so that I can talk to someone. My back yard is 50x60

WOW! Got this at a holiday sales price and it has been GREAT! The overall sound (including bass) has exceeded my expectations. For the size it really fills a good sized room (think family or living room) with great sound. And the battery life is awesome!

This speaker, for the most part, is awesome. I love the waterproofing, the sound is great and full bodied, and it's sort quick to connect via Bluetooth. I find I never use the search button, but I'm not a big voice search user, so that might influence that. I do wish there was a previous track option, and using a double click on the play/pause button to go to the next track is awkward for such a large device. I also wish the app included some more options, such as EQ adjustment, device priority and battery percentage.

After looking around and listening to MANY portable Bluetooth speakers, I decided on this one. I picked this one because it's easy to use and sync, excellent sound quality, the battery life is amazing, I also love that it's water proof so I can wipe it down after leaving the job site.

This speaker is much louder than I thought it would be, and the waterproofing makes this a great value. Use it for a party or take it to the beach and you won't be disappointed. I can't imagine that paying double the price for any other speaker will give double the sound quality.

Haven't compared it side by side to other wireless speakers but the sound quality is pretty good and has decent bass for a small speaker and it is also pretty loud and I haven't turned it all the way up for fear of blowing the speaker. Perfect for just sitting around outside grilling or around a campfire. Haven't tested anything about how waterproof it is or if it is dust or sand proof (one thing other brands advertise) so not too sure about putting it on the ground or taking to the beach.

I initially looked at many other options but this was had an amazing sale during Black Friday so I got it. Sometimes, I'm a little skeptical about products on sale, maybe old and sub par products but I'm definitely happy with this. It's loud and has bass without losing audio so a great purchase. The bonus was the battery charger which comes in handy when you're too lazy to reach for the wall charger.

Charge 3 is ALOT louder. Greater bass and handles most genres of music. May sound a little bit compromised but nothing of great notice. Plays wide and focused and handles high volume. Bose on the other hand plays so much better when it comes to acoustic and "wide room" music. I don't get how something that small sound could make sound so wide and three dimensional. It just sounds more universal and creamy but lacks the power and crunch. Especially when it comes to bass.

Perfect for my teenager - she can move it around the house, compact and has great sound!

The Charge 3 feels heavier than I anticipated, but wow does it sound amazing! The high end/midrange is pretty one sided making against the wall a better position than say in the middle of the group. And spraying it off with a garden hose after the beach is just awesome.

The overall sound quality of this speaker is very good. The voices are heard nice and clear and does have pretty good bass for a small speaker. It could be a little louder. The battery life on this thing is amazing! I'll use it here and there around the house and sometimes at work and it seems to last forever. It is a little bigger and bulkier than most other popular Bluetooth speakers I looked at, but for 20 hour playback time, waterproof, phone charging capability, and it was on sale. I'm happy with my purchase.

Love our JBL charge - we take it everywhere with us, battery life and sound is great.

Picked up one of these for my wife, but the teenager uses it so much, I had to get another one for my wife. This is a great and durable speaker to use inside, outside, poolside, bathroom, beach, etc. It is small enough to travel with and you don't have to worry about it getting wet. There are better options for bookshelf speakers, but for a portable and weatherproof speaker, this is a great option.

Bought this speaker after doing a lot of research and I'm glad I did. This speaker sounds better and has more bass than any other speaker at this price point. It's also waterproof which is an added bonus. We like to use this on our deck when our kids are swimming in their pool.

Its great for the size. The bass and mids/highs sound wonderful for such a compact unit (about 1liter bottle). I am very happy with this purchase. The only one that sounds a little better is the Bose but for twice the money. I will be buying the next size up.
