I use this speaker for everything. When I watch movies on my iPad, I listen to podcasts on it, it’s perfect for music around the pool. I’ve used it every day for a week and the battery is still above 50%. Very loud. Sounds great. Great product

My husband and I have been looking for a speaker to take with us on camping trips. We needed something compact, loud, and easy to use. This speaker is perfect. It gives off a clear sound and connects to our phones via Bluetooth seamlessly.

i bought the beats pill+ first and i really liked it, but i began to read reviews about the JBL charge 3 and how much better it sounds over the beats pill+,not only does it sound better it has significant battery life over the beats pill+.The JBL charge 3 is also water proof and the beats pill+ is not ,the JBL charge 3 has better blue tooth connectivity ,and i love the material the JBL is covered in i bought a black one and i absolutely love it .

I love this speaker! I originally seen my sister using it and I am impressed with the quality so I bought one for my husband. We use it when we are on the beach or camping. 20x more efficient than using your phone alone. It has USB port for old timers that like to use their cords or a Bluetooth option as well. I like the fact that I can use it as a battery charger for your phone. Dropped it a couple of times with no damage so I can tell it is well made device. Will definitely recommend this to everyone :)

This speaker has fantastic sounds, works all day on a charge, and is waterproof. The sound coming out of the speaker is so great that other tradesmen ask my husband if he brought his speaker to the job site! I highly recommend it

I highly recommend this for a few reasons. * The battery really lasts as long as they say. * It really is waterproof. No worries aground the pool. It won't play under water, but I think that is because the blue tooth signal can't travel through the water. It also floats. * The sound is pretty good and easily fills a 30 yard circle with music out side. Sounds almost as good as a sonos *Easy to connect to so others can take over and DJ

The JBL Charge 3 is just the speaker I was looking for! I was questionable at first on the fully waterproof- but I spilled my entire glass of water on it- didn’t even skip a beat to the song! I also have to say —it has amazing battery life and it even doubles as an external charger for your portable devices! It also has built-in speakerphone capabilities, and plays loudly with super strong bass!

While you won't get the superb tones of a more expensive speaker, this little guy cranks out good sound. Perfect for kids and adults alike, it is durable, and water resistant if you forget it outside during a storm

I used to own the previous model of this JBL until it fell from a high point I had it on and it started to sound muffled when I raise the volume all the way up but still works. So I purchased this new one and it sounds awesome!! It does sound more clearer than the model mefore and the bass is also even more enhanced. Battery life is good and an added perk that you can plug in your phone to the device and it can charge your phone as well. And bluetooth capability works just great. You won't regret this purchase.

Very happy with the range and portability. Great sound and bass. I was originally debating between this or the Flip 3. I am never one to purchase a product that has more features than I require and the Flip 3 seemed to be sufficient. But do to low stock in the store I purchased the Charge instead It turned out to be the perfect portable speaker. The range is perfect for our medium sized apartment. The Flip 3 I am sure is nice for a small room, but the Charge is well worth the extra price.

This speaker sounds great, I have the jbl extreme and a flip 3, this one sounds just as good but better, just the right amount of bass and treble and is completely waterproof, I put it in my bath tub!!

I purchased the Flip 3, Charge 3, and Xtreme for Black Friday. The Charge 3 is my personal favorite! The sound quality is amazing, it's water-resistant, and I can charge my phone? You had me at hello!

I'm really impressed with this Bluetooth speaker! Apart from being Bluetooth, there's an incredible base from the unit as well as the capability of charging your phone from the speaker. 20 hours battery? More like 25+!! Also can link with other JBL speakers to really jam out with friends. Get it, buy, add it, request this speaker to your next birthday, graduation gift or even for pleasure in which I use it for. Love this little speaker super loud and love that you can get it wet without it even messing up. Would definitely recommend this for others to use as well. Very good heavy-based and love the fact that you can pair with other speakers as well. It's awesome that it has a phone charger as well in case you're running low on juice when your phone. This thing lasts forever great battery power it hardly needs to charge.

Absolutely amazing sound coming from this little thing! I was skeptical of Bluetooth speakers in general and didn't think that I would be replacing my large tower speakers in my garage with something that can fit into my hand. Boy was I wrong. This JBL speaker is crystal clear at all levels, with lots of bass and will get loud! It's not going to shake pictures off the wall, but you can feel the bass on the counter that it is on and it is very audible. I typically leave them plugged into the wall, but I have used for an entire weekend while doing things around the house and didn't kill the battery. I now have two of these because of how great they are.

JBL makes many different models that come in different sizes and colors. The sounds they put forth are crisp and clear. This model was purchased on sale with an additional 10% birthday discount making it slightly less expensive than the next lower model. It features 15 hours of battery life and is water resistant and takes phone calls and will charge the cell phone or other USB devices. I can't think of anything negative to say about this speaker.

I bought this for my son so he would have a wireless portable speaker when he heads off to college. This has the best full range of sound of any of the speakers in this size and price range. It has a long battery life, can charge other devices and is waterproof - all good things for a portable speaker. It was easy to set up and use. All in all, it was a solid purchase.

Do not let the size fool you! I use this speaker for absolutely everything. During parties even with people talking it is plenty loud, I have used it on vacation in a swimming pool and somebody accidentally dropped it into the pool and when it came out it continued playing. Its very easy to transport, not heavy, and easy to connect. You can also merge two of them if you have another person with it and this feature works great!

I know several people who had other Jbl Bluetooth speakers and I knew they were loud, but they've really outdone themselves with this Charge 3. 20 hours battery life, louder, clearer and you can still charge your phone with it. And waterproof! Wow. Ue boom was a close competitor but to the price and sound this was the clear winner. Very satisfied with my purchase. The flip 3 was very good and surprisingly loud and clear but does lack the bass the charge 3 has
