The JBL Charge 3 is the best small speaker on the market. Clarity of Sound, perfect Bass and the ability to blue tooth connect from all of your devices. One of the best Medium size speakers! I purchased my JBL Charge 3 almost 2 years ago based on positive reviews and reports online and don't regret. Clear, powerful sound, waterproof, not too bulky and durable. Red color especially looks very vibrant and stand out in the crowd of other speakers. Highly recommend!

So far this has great sound quality and was super easy to connect to the blue tooth on my ipod. Great that it is water proof.

Purchased this item on sale. The sound coming from this unit is much better than the one I was upgrading from. I have not had the chance to test the unit's performance when it comes to water resistance but it's great to know that feature is there. Bass is great and sound fills the room well at less than 30% volume. Would purchase another one

Meaning: if you're after a loud, fun, easy, and waterproof BT speaker for the beach, pool, backyard... this is a solid performer. It's not going to (nor is meant to) compete with Sonos or more expensive options. But it's bright and fun and follows us around the house.

I read the reviews before purchasing. If you're looking for huge sound with mega bass, check this, but likely you'll purchase something else. We love the portability and waterproofing features. Sound is full and rich but won't blow anyone's clothes off. Love the JBL products and consider them extremely reliable. Fact that it can charge a phone was great added feature. Also it holds a charge forever and a day. Great buy.

We bought this as a speaker for a Halloween projector outdoors, and it has quite powerful sound with decent bass. After Halloween we moved it into our game room and it comes in quite handy to let people play what they want. Easy connection and long battery life.

We got this for my husband and he really loves it. Has great bass, good sound and really emits good volume. He uses it in the backyard when he's working out and has had no issues with volume or pairing. It's also not too big so doesn't take up a lot of space. He's had a few speakers and this one is his favorite so far.

I wasnt sure about this but wow was i happy with it after i got it home. I thought that it might be difficult to figure out . This was not so. In fact it was so easy that i wondered why i hadn't got it sooner. The sound is really good. The battery is really good. It looks great. It is waterproof. What more can i say except i love it.

I absolutely love my speaker. The speaker may be small but it is still great for outdoors or indoor use. The sound of the speaker is clear and not distorted. The Bass is impressive compared to other bluetooth speakers I've owned. Last but not lesast its spill/water proof which makes it even more of a better buy in my opinion.

I have had my JBL for years. This speaker goes with me every golf outing. It's waterproof and very durable. I know because I have dropped it many times. Great quality sound and super loud. I use it with all my electronics. Great for watching movies on my laptop. I highly recommend the jbl3 Charge

I have both the JBL Charge 3 and the JBL Xtreme and I like each one in its own way. The Xtreme is great for larger spaces and even outdoors, but the Charge 3 is better for smaller spaces or if you happen to be closer to the speaker. For example, I think the Charge 3 sounds great when I place it on my desk at work, or when I place it on the shelf in my bedroom as I’m getting ready for work, or when I place it on the counter near the bathroom sink while I’m in the shower.

This JBL speaker product produces a great sound from a relatively small sized unit. I am particularly impressed with the low pitches and was surprised at it's ability to fill the room with sound. It also appears to be very durable and it is water proof... so great by the pool. It looks good too. I would recommend this product

Lound, good sound quality, reliable Bluetooth connection with surprising range and amazing battery life. Couldn’t be easier to use and being waterproof is a nice feature if you’re by the pool and you don’t have to worry about it if you leave it outside and a rainstorm comes up. Very pleased.

I bought this right when it came out and it was more expensive then. I paid $200+ for it. I have other portable speakers and I really think this is one of the best out there for a few different reasons. The sound quality is really great. Compared to the smaller portable Bose speaker I have (which also has excellent sound) this JBL is louder. I also like the fact that it's waterproof. I rarely have a need to use this feature but I have been out on the golf course (where I always play music) and it's been raining and it got a little wet with NO problems. One of the best things is the battery life. This battery lasts a LONG time. I use it on camping trips and it's really great. Another great feature is you can plug in a USB plug in (like iPhone charger) and you can charge your iPhone or other devices. Again, I use this a lot while I play 5 hour+ rounds of golf. I can charge my iPhone while I listen. The only slight negative is it's bulkier and a bit bigger than other speakers but the sound quality and battery life really make it worth it.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my son ($89.99 as part of a Black Friday deal) and he absolutely loves it. The sound quality is great for a portable speaker. It easily synced to an iPhone and has plenty of volume even for very large rooms or outdoors. The advertised 20 hours of play time is accurate and the unit recharged fairly quickly. The ability to charge external devices is also a nice feature. Highly recommended, especially at the sale price above.
