At a sale price of $399 the JBL BOOMBOX delivers strong in the mid price, portable speaker category. If this was judged on looks alone it's a solid 5 stars. It's not indestructible bit ipx 6/7 waterproof, floats on water and keeps on going. Great sound other than the harsh bright highs and distortion fso crap that tries to gold it together at higher volumes. Outside this Boombox works well, bit you won't be hosting 500 people parties or covering acres of land. It's just not big enough. Indoor and small outdoor gathers are fine.

I bought this speaker for my shower and I've never had any problems with it. It's waterproof, the bass is killer, and it stands firmly.

I love the size. The sound that comes out of it is that of a larger professional system. I would recommend this for inside of outside.

You cant go wrong buying JBL. The sound is awesome. Water proof is the best feature. Good for the pool and the beach!

I love this speaker. I have run it for 7 hours at a very low volume and still had 80 percent charge. It will even charge my phone when needed.

Used daily by a college student, both indoors and outside. Good sound quality, sturdy construction, can handle splashes and light rain with no problems!

Gave this as a gift to my son in law. He uses it all of the time and it is usually on when I visit them. Sounds great and connects well with blue tooth.

This speaker is great. It is very easy to sync with phone and the sound quality is exceptional. It is even small enough to take anywhere.

I absolutely loved my JBL Charge 2! Unfortunately, it was subject to water damage due to a night out on the deck with some heavy rain. Hence, my Charge 3 was an improvement over the last model. Sound quality is still pretty great and the added water resistance is a definite plus!

Can’t believed that this is better speaker than bose mini soundlink, Better bass and louder than bose mini. Absolutlely loved it

Bought this for my niece. This is the third one I bought as it works so well. Sound is great!!!! Small enough to take everywhere.

This is the best sounding bluetooth speaker i have heard. The base is great, and the fact that I can bring to the beach or pool, and not worry is great.

This speaker is unbelievably clear when turned up loud! The size is very easy to manage; goes anywhere. Can't wait to take it to the beach this summer!
