I love this device. It has excellent sound quality in a small package, and the fact that it can also be used to charge devices make this very versatile. Not only do you have speakers that are portable and have great sound, but you also have an emergency power source to charge your phone or music device. I would definitely recommend this to my friends :-)

Best Bluetooth speaker ever! I bought this to replace a smaller JBL speaker that my daughter took to college. It has amazing sound quality and volume. Perfect for the backyard and playroom. Even use it when taking a shower and in the hot tub as its waterproof. Highly recommend. Loved it so much I bought one for my son in the Navy

The sound quality is just amazing on this speaker! It is seriously impressive the amount of bass this speaker gives off. You would think it's coming from a speaker that's 5 times the size. Battery lasts a long time and I love the ability to pair a bunch of these speakers together. This thing rocks. JBL has done it again.

This was a gift for my middle school son who is also a Boyscout. He loves this speaker, great sound and very portable. He uses it sometimes in the house but mostly when working or playing outdoors. Other scouts on campout have the same speaker and when they have free time, enjoy listening to music. The battery life is good for weekend camping trips.

MY NEIGHBOR HAS A JBL BLUETOOTH SPEAKER AND AFTER HEARING THE SOUND AND VOLUME CAPABILITIES I WAS HOOKED. I HAD TO GET 1 MYSELF, I HAVE A LARGER SPEAKER BUT IT IS MORE CUMBERSOME TO MOVE AROUND. THIS ITEM IS MUCH MORE USER FRIENDLY AND PERFECT FOR THE PATIO, IN THE KITCHEN AND EVEN BY THE FIRESIDE.

this thing is great take it to a picnic, take it to a protest, charge up your devices (it doubles as a small battery bank) super cute, really decent sound quality for something the size of a large burrito super intuitive, simple buttons only struggle was firmware updates on older jbl bt speakers i already had so that they could pair

This is a fantastic speaker!!! JBL has outdone themselves again. This brand has replaced the beats pill speakers in our home. The bass is perfect. Sound quality is clear. Very crisp sound. Battery charging quickly but lasts a long time one one full charge. It is used daily and don’t have to charge daily.

My first portable speaker was a beats pill and it left me with a bad taste in my mouth concerning portable speakers. I recently purchased this JBL speaker as a gift for my brother and got such good reviews from him that I bought it for my wife. Long story short this speaker has redeemed my perception on portable speakers and NOW I'm never looking back as far as other brands! Very easy to use not very expensive and of course SURPASSED all expectations when it comes to sound quality, energy sufficiency and easy to use features!

I’ve had two JBL Charge 4 speakers for several weeks and I love them. I have two friends that have four speakers each. We connect all ten together and we have a wall of sound. The only down side is you have to update the software in order to be able to do this. Everything considered I highly recommend the Charge 4 speakers.

Only a few times have I turned to JBL for sound-equipment, but they have never disappointed me. The Charge 4's sound is a little bass-friendly in spite of producing a good range. There's plenty of power for around the house. I'm not sure how easy that exterior will be to keep clean. The speaker housings and the cover for the connections feel sturdy. I like the easy, intuitive setup and what have so far been reliable connections. I'm still checking the battery life, but I'm sure they did not exaggerate when they said 12 hours of playing. It's also smart enough to disconnect and turn itself off.

this speaker is great indoors or out. I have yet to need the volume on full blast because it is pretty loud mid level. Durable, i move it arround my house and outside when I am doing work and it still looks brand new. Battery life is great. I have had it for six month and only had to charge it 3 times, and i use it weekly

These things are little miracles. The sound is excellent, the battery goes forever and ever (we charge ours every few weeks, but I think they can go maybe 10-12 hours straight with constant music and high volume). I love that you can charge your phone from it. It's water-resistant too!

Excellent build quality. Easy to transport, charge, and pair with devices. Holds its power charge well. Sound is impressive for this form factor, though don’t expect super deep base or incredible stereo fidelity - not the purpose here. Using it in my shop, garage, kitchen, and outdoor outings - very happy with it.

I love this speaker. I take it river kayaking, to the pool,and the beach. All day battery life great sound and water proof. I have dropped it in the river and the hot tub. Pull ot out shake it off and continue playing music. It links with other JBL speakers to fill the backyard with music. Great purchase.

This is a fantastic speaker! Love the sound, love the base. Throw in features like USB C and the ability to charge your phone by the speaker (which has an almost all day battery, btw) and you’ve got an unbeatable portable speaker. Great speaker for $179, but an absolute no brainer for the same price of $139!

I love this speaker so much. Has a awesome crisp sound, it's really loud for its size, easy to use and connect. Took it to the beach and it pretty much lasted all day on a full charge AND I was charging my phone at the same time. This was a great purchase. Thinking of getting one for my 14 year old nephew who loved it just as much.

I personally place this speaker in my cup holder on my bike and bump thru the city streets of Worcester this speaker is by far the greatest one on the streets with its crisp highs and slamming bass no one can beat it and I receive complimentary all the time! Excellent long long long battery play excessively Long play!

Love it! Listen to my music in the shower and not afraid of it getting a little wet since it’s waterproof. Even took it to the lake and when it fell it the water it still worked like brand new! You can use the feature to charge your own phone!

We replaced my wife's Charge 3 with this Charge 4. No real difference between the old and new model. It's loud and sounds great. We don't really use the charge functionality of it, so I can't speak to that aspect. It is heavier than you would expect. Good quality, quite robust.

I purchased this speaker to use in my suburban backyard while I did my gardening. I like the quality of the sound, the clear sound at higher volumes, the max volume available and the longevity of the battery. WHAT I ABSOLUTELY HATE IS THE MAX VOLUME OF THE STARTUP TONE WHICH CAN NOT BE CHANGED IN ANY OF THE SETTINGS. UBL NEEDS TO RELEASE AN UPDATE FOR THIS. If I was using this primarily for indoors or children's room, I would have returned it for that sole reason.
