I bought this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend, who has been wanting to buy a speaker for a long time but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on one. I kept bouncing between a few different ones but this kept bringing me back, especially because it has the power bank (2 days before buying it, his portable power bank broke). He opened it and was beyond ecstatic, immediately grabbing his phone and connecting the bluetooth. Considering it's size, this thing gets loooud. I was nervous it wouldn't be loud enough (he complains about his car speakers constantly) so I ask for a gift receipt. We tore it up after the first few songs and the guy who's music is never loud enough, is happy. Woop woop! Eventually, I plan on buying one for myself as well and we'll be able to connect the speakers and play the same music! So dope.

Very happy with this purchase. Right price, right portability, excellent sound quality (for the price). Bought this to play background music for my son's saxophone. Can take this anywhere his saxophone goes when performing. Bluetooth connects flawlessly, USB A and C charging.

This thing is clutch. We took it with us to the beach in the Philippines. We took it with us to a hotel in NYC while we pregamed before a concert. It's durable, it's compact but the bass is booming. It really is clutch for parties and pregaming outside or in. All my friends tell me to bring it.

This is a great speaker for outdoor or indoor use and easy to use. Looks just like the picture. It can last for hours and the lights at the bottom tell you when the battery needs to be charged. It’s the best speaker I bought however once it’s getting near needing to be charged, the music will cut in and out but it’s easy to just plug in and charge for next time. There are no lights that go with the music and so far has been water resistant when used to control the volume with wet hands after the pool. Will recommend!

The speaker sounds great, it's waterproof, and has a great battery life. The only problem I have is that it is bigger than my past JBL "portables" so it is a handful when you pick it up. I'm talking about the diameter of the speaker, not the length. Still gets a five-star rating though.

I got this for my daughter for this Christmas coming. She got me one for Christmas last year and now she wants a portable speaker. I know how good mine is so I brought her the same one she got me. It a very good sounding speaker, good brass and a lot of volume.

What can you ask for in a portable speaker. It needs to connect quickly sound good and have good battery life. The new Charge 4 battery lasts longer than my Charge 3 Battery and it hooks up quick. The base is amazing for the size of this unit. Can't go wrong with a JBL!

Insane battery life and amazing sound and base. Took this camping and dropped it several times and it still runs without issue. The fact that it can charge my phone while it plays music is a big plus. Best bluetooth speaker I've ever purchased.

Fantastic little portable speaker, I use it with my Ipod all the time. I use in the garage, while I shower and I strap it on my bike when I go for a ride. Cool all around speaker and it sounds great.

If you want balanced sound quality, portability, ruggedness and long lasting battery life, you can’t go wrong with the Charge 4. I purchased this along with the xtreme 2 and I have no regrets since, awesome sound and build quality, a must for people who likes carrying their music wherever they go.

This thing is awesome. I never expected the Base to be so good for a portable speaker. The clarity is A Class. I do have some of the high-end portable speakers but this is the best. The power backup is as committed by JBL. Product is Cute yet Powerful. Go for it Guys !!!

My boyfriend bought the charge 4 so I bought the flip 4 off amazon then went to Best Buy to get the charge 4. I use my speakers when riding horses or sitting by the campfire. What I love most about them is not just the sound quality and a great price but they also link together for a great sound

Really good deal on a great speaker. Gets amazingly loud for its size and the battery lasts for ages even when you crank the volume. Can also play simultaneously with other new JBL speakers which is a cool feature and really easy to use. Would recommend this speaker to anyone.

I really didn't know the quality of JBL Bluetooth speakers in the past but this was an awesome surprise. Not only does it have excellent sound, the speaker is waterproof and charges your phone while you use it. It really lasts a long time on one charge as well, great product.

We could not believe how long the battery lasts on this thing. The sound is very nice, excellent for background music while I you are working. My wife and I have both been using. Liked it so much we bought another one. The waterproof feature is also excellent.

I’m impressed with this speaker. Though the bass rules, the mid and highs are very clear. Being monaural is not an issue for me. This speaker gets plenty loud but stays clear. It’s great in the shower, on the patio, or sitting around listening to an audio book.

Very good quality sound from a small compact speaker and it can charge my phone even more reason to buy this speaker . I bought a second one for my son he figured out that they both pair up to create a kind of surround sound great product .

This is a beefy and pretty loud little speaker. I Use it in the shower or outside. It’s waterproof rating is no joke since I left it out in a rainstorm and it didn’t skip a beat. This is great for picnics or tubing on the river. I’m sure there are many great mobile speakers but this one is very useful and the sound quality is really good for its size. I would recommend this to anyone but I would definitely recommend some comparison shopping before you buy.

Great sound at high and low volume. When connecting to Blue tooth, it is very quick. The charge lasts a long time. One of these speakers is enough, but if you were to use the multi hook up option and added another - you could easily cover an entire yard with great sound.

I moved over to JBL because the portable Bose speaker I bought a year ago quit working. This speaker does not have the clarity of sound that the Bose did, but the bass kick more than makes up for it. It has a really nice build quality too. It feels like you spent your money on a quality product. A friend of mine found one of these speakers buried on a beach. Who knows how long it was there, but he charged it up and it sounded great. That helped convince me to get this one. I’m not lucky enough to have cake by the ocean with this speaker, so I use this mainly as a bluetooth speaker for my Mac. It also fills the air very well with sound when I take my kids to the local playground. I’m tempted to buy a second one to experience the stereo pairing. I guess thinking about buying another one is the best review I could give this speaker.
