I purchased this to use in group settings. The sound quality is great at low volumes and more than acceptable at higher volumes. The battery seems to last for quite a while. I haven't run it down yet, so I don't know how long it would take to lose the ability to use it. I've had it on for a couple of hours at a time so far. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a Bluetooth speaker.

The sound quality out of the Bluetooth Speaker is insane. It's a little bigger and has little more weight than previously owned speakers but it's not like I would be walking around carrying the speaker. It mostly will seat under my monitor as a computer speaker. But my brother has used it on the golf course with some of his buddies and he said he never lost connection and it sounds great.

Volume levels go pretty low and high, battery lasts long, and can charge your devices!

When I started looking for a slightly larger speaker than my Clip 4, I did so with the intention of getting a louder speaker that produced more bass while also maintaining its crispness. I looked at a few other JBL speakers and even one offered by Beats, but for the money this is hands down the best. I would highly recommend anyone give this little thud a shot if you are in the market.

This was an impulse buy because I saw a review somewhere and it was on a sale at Best Buy. When out in the yard or somewhere listening to music, we'd just used our iPhone speaker in the past. After getting the Charge 4, I feel like a neanderthal for my past actions. The Charge 4 has feel sound that projects across the room ... and with bass! Get it!

I'll have to be honest, this speaker was not my first choice... I bought a different speaker, actually a more expensive speaker first. I returned that speaker because the bluetooth kept on being static. After retuning it, the JBL caught my eye. I am sooo glad I got this speaker. Much cheaper and great sound! The battery is great too!

I bought the JBL bluetooth speaker for my 19-yr-old daughter. The bass is solid and handles classic rock songs like the Stones and rap with equal fidelity. The highs could be better but that's okay as the total frequency range is very dynamic. The ability to charge and play music from an external connected device is a great feature, And I like the strong battery life.
