good sound decent price, but terrible battery life, nothing close as is advertise on the box or the specifications on the page

Great speaker!!! I started with the JBL 2+ which I love but wanted another one. I switched to this one and it exceeded my expectations in every way. It's considerably larger than the 2+ and just sounds a whole lot better! Absolutely love it!!!! Nice color too!

Brought this for my son and he loves it, it is not super loud, but it is not low either. It has just the right kick, he has it placed on his night table and listens to music when he is playing his games. So Im happy with it if my teenager son is, great sound.

Had the JBL 3 and always loved it, but after taking it through a beating I needed a new one and this one tops my old one

Good sound and decent bass. Liked it enough to buy another and the neighbor did the same. Link them all and you got something.

I own the Charge 3, but I bought the Charge 4 for my sibling. She loves the speaker. However, I think the 3 is better because of the 4 speakers, because the 4 has three speakers (leaning to the right side). I thought it was a defective speaker at first, but that is how it's built. Charge 3 & 4 become stereo with the connect feature without a problem. I'd recommend this for a new buyer, but for someone thinking to upgrade from Charge 3, don't.

the jbl charge 4 sounds very good and is very loud for the size of the unit i very much would recommend this product

The JBL Charge 4 speaker is an amazing speaker; it’s a very unique speaker. The sound overall is great, the controls are simple, and the price was definitely worth what I paid for. I highly recommend this speaker for those looking for one to buy whether it’s a gift or for personal use!

This thing work’s great. I’m not very technically savvy, but this thing almost hooked it’s self up. I used to wake up my wife when I watch the news in the AM. I place the speaker next to my chair and she can sleep in. Also sounds great when I listen to music.

The color is so bright and nice. The sound quality is really awesome too! It never disappoints! The Only downside is that it only comes with a usb to connect (to charge) and no charger. You have to use your phone charger cube, or buy one. But overall great.

I love this speaker. The sound is great, it stays connected for a decent distance. My last one would no longer stay connected so I'm crossing my fingers this one doesn't have that happen because I love it. Don't bump it though, it might roll away.

I bought it on this date 4/27/2020 and to this day I do not regret having bought it, I take it with me every day to work, I connect it to my cell phone through Bluetooth and listen to music or news for 8 hours and even if you have a charge for 2 or 3 more hours ...

So good, I bought two. Just the right amount of sound performance, mixed with size for travel and convenience. I love it. Versatile, great charging input and output. I loved mine so much, I got another for my friend for Christmas. Now she loves it too.

The only detractor about this product is that it's quite large. Other than that it's the perfect portable living room stereo / friend's party speaker / summertime vibes that fits in any bag. Having a great experience so far, and plan to use it in the coming months as well.

I got this because a lot of my friends had the previous generation and they all seemed to really enjoy it. I've had it for about a month now and it comes in handy all the time. The sound quality is good enough for me for a speaker that is durable and portable.

Prior to this purchase I own a Charge 3, love it, and I needed a extra speaker. Bought this one, took it home and it took 10 minutes for it to actually turn on. After that it seemed to work ok. A couple of weeks later it would not charge or turn on at all, it was dead. I did return the item hassle free and exchanged it for another and have had 0 issues with it. It sounds great and hoping that the first one was a fluke. Would buy the Charge 3 over the 4 because of the size difference but I am happy with the purchase.

I am glad that I was able to test the speaker in the store. I actually did some investigative homework on the speaker and it was rated good. I am very satisfied with the purchase, it has great sound and seems to be sturdy. I'm a very happy customer.

I've always been a supporter in JBL. Easy to set up. This is a solid speaker to give to the kids for their dorm room or for use in the beach or backyard. My music taste ranges from Jazz to Alterantive to Classic Rock. Plus, not having to worry about getting it wet is a plus. Enjoy!

This speaker has a great sound quality to it. Previously we would play music on the tv, but using this we can play music from our phones and it fills up the whole place with sound without sounding scratchy when it gets too loud. Worth the purchase and we will be using it this summer a lot.
