I'll have to be honest, this speaker was not my first choice... I bought a different speaker, actually a more expensive speaker first. I returned that speaker because the bluetooth kept on being static. After retuning it, the JBL caught my eye. I am sooo glad I got this speaker. Much cheaper and great sound! The battery is great too!

I first purchased the sony srs-xb41 because at the time the charge 4 wasn't on sale and the sony goes on sale for $125 only. After waiting for couple of days the charge 4 was on sale for $99 and I decided to pick it up because the sony was not really what I expected for sound quality. After I've bought the charge 4 and compared them side by side I can now said that I've kept the charge 4 and returned the sony srs-xb41. The charge 4 has a better sound quality and audio was clearer. Bass was a little on the weak side but the music that I listen to wasn't bass heavy so it doesn't really bother me much. The sony, on the other hand, has lots of bass power but voice quality or sound quality is not as good as the charge 4.

I've been using this speaker for almost a year now and I still don't have a complaint! It sounds great and the battery life is freaking amazing! If you're on the edge as far as this or maybe a Bose or Sony speaker, this one is definitely the better choice. I'm a die-hard Bose fan, and I was hugely impressed with this speaker.

I've own the JBL Flip 2 and the JBL Charge 4 is so much better if every way. 1. Sound quality is amazing. Love the deep bass. 2. Overall build quality. Love having the ability to charge my phone. 3. Battery life. I've had it for a month and only charged it once. 4. Got it on sale at BB saved $30.00 5. Love the camo color.

Extremely happy with this JBL charge 4....For the sale price I paid, I cant imagine a better speaker. Could pay more for a bigger speaker, but why? The clarity and definition come's thru intensely smooth...The bass is great! Not too much,but fills that bottom in perfectly! Great for the patio and pool area..indoors fills the room with concert appeal.. Love it!!
