Definitely disappointed, I think I have a lemon however, it didn’t sound like this in the store. Be careful Covid made all return policies so much more strict, it’s not anoint the consumer, the retailers can do whatever they want charge u treat u and it’s accepted now I guess.

1. Please try using a different music player and if you're using an equalizer, turn it off.
2. Try using am Aux cable to check if the sound will be the same compared to Bluetooth.
3. Try using a different source ex. (phone, tablet) To check if you'll experience the same problem using a different device.
If steps 1-3 didn't work, you can also reset the speaker:
In order to reset the Charge 4, with the unit on, press “Volume+” and “Bluetooth” at the same time for 3-4 seconds until you hear the audible chime.

Horrible

Bad Sound Quality - 1 Star Product

It is bad because of the sound quality. You would think it a newer generation of this speaker would sound good but it definitely does not.

Defective Product

Let it charge for a few minutes, still nothing. I called JBL about the issue, and they never heard of it, so they’re sending me a replacement.

A Great Speaker!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Working from home because of the COVID-19 pandemic, I wanted a Bluetooth speaker to liven up my office, so I decided on the JBL Charge 4. Set up was dirt simple, using it with my iPhone, and despite it's small size (3 1/2 inches high by 8 1/2 inches wide), the speaker pumps out seriously big and crisp sound, complete with plenty of bass which I like. My only gripe is that the power gauge on the app is tiny and barely legible, otherwise, this speaker is a winner!
