Loud durable and long battery life. JBL has clearly repeated the formula for a great product. I owned the first version of the charge and it lasted for 4 years so I tried another one. Solid A F. It's just the right size too, I've brought this speaker up thousands of feet of rock. I managed to find this on SALE at best buy and spent way less than I thought I would. Stoked.

My wife has been looking for something that she could bring outside for a while now. I got this for her for Christmas and she loves it. Not only does it go outside but she brings it downstairs when she works out. It's a great addition to the speakers in our house as it sounds great, is lightweight, and so far, pretty durable.

Sound on this is amazing I’ve always liked the JVC sounds but you get the high and lows here this is a an amazing toy I bought three More plus 2 to give away because it’s so awesome members. It’s easy to move around the house and take outside to play while you sit in the sun, at a low volume because you don’t need it loud to get the full range. it’s awesome

Only had this about a week so far. Looks cool. Easy to connect and use. Battery last a long time. Overall sound is pretty good. Not as great as I anticipated, but I would buy again. Good bass sound.

had a couple speakers at home already but we were going to the river so i wanted something waterproof. little did i know when we were at the river that all our things would go falling out due to some strong waters and the speaker went straight under the water and came back up still playing music just fine! the sound is super loud which i love also.

Great full sound from this speaker. For its price range, it is a fantastic sounding speaker that "just works". It connects to multiple devices simultaneously, and has a long battery life (no accurate estimate due to my sporadic usage, but it has yet to die on me), with the USB charge function being the icing on the cake. Overall, I am very happy with this product.

This was purchased as a gift for a 14 year old. It has been used extensively for a few weeks and the whole family is impressed. I tend to favor Sony or JVC for audio and this meets the sound quality expected from those brands. It has significant bass with a clever side “woofer”. My wife even stole it to use for her workouts.

Beautiful sound - treble, mid and especially bass with dual subwoofers at each end. I'd encourage anyone to buy two Charge4s and place them in adjacent corners on the same floor in your home. Once synced, the stereo effect is tremendous... Also they charge very quickly and maintain battery life better than any device I've owned. Great product.

Really great sound, long battery life and easy to use

So, I purchased this item and wasn’t to happy with it. It does produce decent sound, but not detailed sound. I am a bit of an audiophile, so I need that full range of sound. Not only that, but to me the item was to expensive for basic sound. I’ve seen people complain about it not having stereo sound, which to me wasn’t really a deal breaker, but for a speaker that does have strong bass and pretty clear sound, made me realize it shouldn’t be mono. The speaker also, when you put that volume up, it seems like it lowers it’s output power. It could be a feature that prevents itself from blowing out... I don’t know. I wasn’t to happy with it, so I returned it. Bottom line.. it sounds good for people who don’t really care about detailed sounds, but why pay that much. And if you’re an audiophile, I don’t think you’ll be happy with this speaker. Speaker should cost $50 to $70 the most

I went with the Charge 4, as I had to replace my Charge 3. This model is better than the Charge 3. The battery charges fairly quickly, and the sound is better and louder. The only issue was that after purchasing the Charge 4, I took it home to charge it and it would not charge I exchanged it for a different one and this has been working fine so far!
