My wife convinced me JBL portable bluetooth speaker was the way to go - She was right on this one! Now most of my friends have one too! They have very powerful high quality sound, very affordable and durable! Finally had to replace my old one and didn't hesitate to get this one. So far it has lived up to my expectation.

I love this speaker. It small, lightweight (for what it does), and has great rich sound. Perfect for the beach, by the pool, or by the grill. I also recommend getting the hard case for it too. Makes carrying it so easy and you can still hear it through the case.

I had a Charge 3 for about 2 years. At first I thought it was ok, but that's because I hadn't compared it side-by-side with any other bluetooth speakers. Once I did, I began to realize the Charge 3 sounded quite awful actually. Over-boosted mids or just weak/poor bass and highs. (I know I'm over-simplifying here). After thoroughly testing tons of speakers, I was pleasantly surprised to find the Charge 4 gets everything right! The Charge 3 literally hurt my ears in some songs because mids were so strong...no linearity to freq response at all. But the Charge 4 is a whole different story! Much better bass than Charge 3 (deeper, stronger, and far less peaky), much clearer and pleasant highs than Charge 3, and more power than Charge 3 as well! Now in the end, I found that the ANKER SoundCore Boost sounded as good or better than the Charge 4 for HALF the price. But for what it's worth, the Charge 4 is a great sounding speaker.

Even Dow I am very happy the sound its great loud it does the job well,good quality, my only thing is or warning per say is that the speaker package doesent include the cube to charge the speaker just the cord,I don't know why it could be safer that way,like any other electronics,but since was not included I used one of my own old that I have at home for my cellphone,my cellphone also is like 3 years old ,the problem was, the cube was so hot after I try to charge the speaker in less then and hour, my son told me ,mom this light will turn on ,when is fully charge ,any way , for some reason I deside to move the cube to another place ,and the cube was so very hot even the cable ,was hot, I got scare ,thinking what could of happened if I let it seat longer, my son tells me maybe was because the speaker need a higher voltage ⚡ cube ,,maybe I dint read the instructions all the way ,but please be careful ⁰,I could of burnt an outlet,or something else.

Incredible sound quality even at a low volume and holds a long charge. I bought this as a christmas gift for my son at his request and we are both very pleased with the purchase. I would definitely recommend to a friend and would purchase again, especially since I got a great deal on black friday.

Great buy at the sale price. Battery life is excellent, sound is good, and portability with the ability to charge your phone.

I was really pushing for ue Mega blast or mega boom but heard some good reviews on this one so figured I’d try it out. It didn’t disappoint! Great speaker with plenty of punch to carry around outside Even hooked it up to my iPad inside while watching shows and was very responsive

I bought this speaker as a substitute for a radio I built for floating the river because it's much smaller and easier to transport. It's got good, clear sound and is pretty loud. I feel like I've heard louder, smaller speakers before. This one also functions as a power bank for people worried about their phones dying while streaming music. Overall it will serve its purpose. Unless you have a few linked together, you won't be throwing a concert with it. But it sounds great while sitting on the deck or at the beach.

The dimensions are small however weighs more than it appears. It is perfect for my desk and transporting. The sound quality is clear and most appealing. I was introduced to it in an AT&T store while purchasing a phone and the staff member told me where she bought it.

I had the original which was good, but bass blew it out. This one is bigger with more punch. Feels much more solid overall. Sound quality is excellent. I like that it can link with other JBL devices, but I have not tried it. Overall a great improvement for essentially the same price as the original.

I wanted for about a month in the battery power is still the strongest it was when I bought it. The sound is great. What would be awesome is it they put a little handle on it. But totally recommended. I've owned the Bose system which is absolutely fantastic. But this is great for a lot less money

Clear sound with perfect combination of bass. I typically use Bose or Sony products, but this speaker has blown the competition away.

Upgraded from the jbl charge 3 to the charge 4 and wow! Sounds awesome! Especially when you connect several jbl speakers at the same time. Not only do you get great quality sound but the durability and sturdiness makes this product a must have for every occasion.

I absolutely love this speaker. I have it hooked up to my Amazon Echo Dot. The sound quality is wonderful and I can use it for lots of other things. I highly recommend this product. The quality is second to none. I believe it is the best Bluetooth portable speaker that you can purchase.

Looked at online ratings when considering a new speaker purchase, and this one commonly landed high on many lists. The sound is good, though it depends on the placement--when this speaker is sitting directly on my desk near me, the sound seems a little more tinny than when I put it up on my bookcase. The side-woofers seem to need some space to offer their best sound. But Bluetooth connection is easy and quick and seems solid at some distance, so I find it to be a good product overall.

Incredible sound for such a small wireless/bluetooth speaker! Great value compared to more expensive brands and built with great quality. Can’t wait to take this bad boy on many adventures, including camping trips! Oh...did I mention it’s waterproof too!

I bought this for my classroom so that when I use the projection system, kids would be able to hear the audio! I had used a 3w Anker cube. With that, if the kids were quiet, they could kind of hear. This thing rocks the room (classroom=large space). I've not had a complaint about not being able to hear videos from the computer. The sound is good. If you want to experience a true symphonic soundtrack, this probably isn't the quality you're looking for. But you're also going to have to pay a LOT more! Blue-tooth pairing is EASY. I have this set up high on a shelf atop my whiteboards. I thought I was going to have to reach up and power it on all the time. However, I THINK it remembers 2 settings. I currently have it paired with my Macbook and my iPhone. All I have to do is click Bluetooth, select the Charge 4 speaker, and in a few seconds, I hear the tone series from the JBL letting me know it's connected! For my purposes, filling a large room with good sound, I couldn't be happier.
