Let it sit for two in my bedroom then tried to charge and it wouldn’t charge. Brought it back and got another one and the same thing happened. I got another one and it’s still sitting in the box untouched. JBL needs to cover the charging port. I don’t recommend buying this.

However, if you are seeking a speaker with a good battery life, this isn't it. I was beyond disappointed when I let the speaker charge overnight to only receive an hour and a half of playtime.

It does not sound as good as i was told. Then it went on sale same week i bought it, could have saved $60 dollars. I would have felt better about it then.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is an upgrade from My Charge 5 e it didn't seem worth the extra money looking at the features, but it is a much more crisp sound, and I am glad I updated. It is also nice that it is just USBc now the old USBa to charge phone was nice but it is nicer only needing a single cord. It also now comes with a strap which is nice. I have only had it for an hour, but I can't imagine I will find anything wrong with it.

The only downsize i have found is it is very heavy on the bass, but if you like that then it would be great. Overall good sound quality and a very portable, rugged, and small sized speaker.
