I wanted to upgrade from my older JBL Flip 4 which was a great speaker that I’m still using to this day. The Charge is undoubtedly a worthy upgrade! I took it to the beach and it lasted the entire day. Great sound and the ability to link it to other JBL speakers makes it suitable for many different environments. The JBL app is a solid companion for the speaker and allows you to have full control of the sound. The speaker is very durable and built well. Highly recommended.

It's great for parties and get togethers, it has a nice long battery life. It has amazing bass and can get very loud which I love. JBL really knows how to make a good speaker.

I had the Charge 5 before and wasn’t satisfied with the sound. I also didn’t like the USBC for charge only and usb A for power out. The new Charge 6 now has only 1 USBC for both charge and battery charge out. I didn’t like the sound at first with the default sound modes and almost returned. I then noticed the manual equalizer mode and finally got it to sound full and powerful like I wanted. The default few different sound modes all sounded hollow, like underpowered. If you adjust the equalizer on your own using the JBL app it sounds much more fuller, deep, and stronger. Definitely keeping this one and happy. I only wish I get 2 whe they were on introductory sale at 129.99 for stereo sound, but 1 still sounds pretty good and thumps.

Big fan. Grabbed this on sale around the holidays. Excellent sound, and battery life. Compact and durable. Beach, back yard cookouts, pool side tunes. Ideal for most situations! Have had a few other brands. Just hard tob beat Jbl quality at this price point.

Huge upgrade even from the 5. The blue is pretty and the strap is useful and sturdy. It’s pretty loud and my bf has been using it everywhere he goes. Definitely a bang for your buck as the size makes you think it wouldn’t be so loud.

I bought a pair of these because they're capable of pairing for stereo sound. They're small enough that they'll fit most anywhere, yet the sound is rather robust for units of this size (I'm a bit picky about sound quality). They're a great solution for my situation.

This is a great speaker. It vonnectsceasy and has great dound. It’s durable and can get wet. Its a decent size but yestvits really easy to travel with. Battery stsys charged a long time. Been using 2 weeks and im still on my forst charge! At $129 this is a good value. We use this speaker at home and travel with it or my charge 2. Goes through security no problem. JBL app is good for eq and connecting up multiple JBL speakers at same time. Unfortunately it doesn’t work with older charge 2 technology. Be nice if they could bridge that and add 3rd party as well. But still its a nice feature. Speaker delivers just as it’s specified and advertised. This is the best speaker for price and features at this size and pricepoint.

Love this, I have 2 charge 5’s also. One survived being underwater for an entire month in an accidental boat sinking. The new charge 6 is smaller, lighter, and sounds even better.
