However, if you are seeking a speaker with a good battery life, this isn't it. I was beyond disappointed when I let the speaker charge overnight to only receive an hour and a half of playtime.

My UE MEGABOOM 3 still outperforms this JBL, and it’s cheaper! How does that make sense? The bass drops off badly once you hit 50–80% volume. The app is terrible.. you can’t even power the speaker on through it, and there’s no button on the speaker to check battery life. Meanwhile, the UE Megaboom app is smooth and user-friendly, the bass holds strong even at max volume, you get true 360° sound, and the battery lasts longer. Sorry JBL, but you really dropped the ball on this one.

Would not recommend best but for anyone. After pushing a my Best Buy membership and Best Buy credit card they would not honor price matching. Avoid Best Buy for anything
