    I got the JBL Boombox 3 for my rig to listen to music because the speakers are terrible in there. I had to return that speaker because it was too powerful. The JBL Boombox 3 is not meant for enclosed spaces. Best Buy was gracious enough to take it back and I got the JBL Charge5 which works fantastic. It is powerful and sounds terrific.

    Great sound, great speaker for this price range. Just got back from vacation and the battery life was excellent even with my daughter using the charging port for her phone.

    The extra 10 watts really brings out that bass when paired with a second unit. Super portable and powerful, another homerun from JBL! I definitely recommend this speaker

    I was debating on whether I should buy this, or, the big brother, Xtreme. I have always been satisfied with JBL so, for more than $100 less I purchased the Charge 5. I was, and am still, very impressed. My friend has the Xtreme, but, to be honest I don't think hers sounds much different. Very satisfied. Thanks JBL.

    This item came up on sale, so I thought let’s see. It has very good audio for its size and nice bass. It is great to sit on the back deck or for a hike.
