This speaker has so much sound for such a small size. Great for indoor or outdoor use. Very clear with a perfect amount of bass.

I have bout it for my son. The sound is crystal clear, it’s definitely pretty water resistant.We can actually hear every instruments or small noice in the background.

3-5 battery life 80%-100% volume on iphone 13 (AAC 320 kbps). Less battery life if you max out EQ settings. The bass is not that clear, mids and highs are ok. Good enough on bike ride mounted on frame for the size and weight.

Still durable, decent quality of sound. The older models didn't have much bass. HATE the power indicator. You have to guess what is 100%. Overcharging is something i still worry about from JBL. the batteries were great until you overcharged them

Good sound the last model for my wife and she loved itvso now we have thisbnewer charge 5 it seems to have more bass.

Man i just put this speaker to the test when it was raining last night and no damage happened to the speaker. The sound is awesome well worth the money

My old trust UE boomie couldn't hold a charge after 8 years of use and was planning on replacing it with the new version. While at Best Buy looking at the UE colors I heard someone testing out the JBL Charge5 and was blown away by the sound. Couldn't believe that this was cheaper and sounded better, subjective, to me. This goes back and forth from a classroom to home and couldn't be happier. Great product!

Perfect for traveling. Bass is loud and overall sound quality is much better than any of the other speakers I listened to in the store. Love the red color as well.

Just received mine this week upgrading from the Charge 4. First, update the firmware via the JBL app. Second, this is exponentially louder than the Charge 3 & 4. The bass is great but what really caught my ear is the treble is quite a bit more pronounced or “brighter” than the previous iterations. Comparatively, the Charge 4 actually sounds flat when testing the two. I think it’s still a nice upgrade though.

jbl charge 5 camo looks and sounds great. Deep bass but clear lows too.
