Ive taken this speaker to the beach 2 times now and we love to have the music on full blast the whole time, however the speakers battery life is just not there yet. Only lasts 2 hours at best, not enough time for the beach. Also the sound direction is very forward and is hard to hear when you are not perfectly straight into it.

I got the JBL speaker for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it and the volume does get loud so she is happy.

Love the sound of this X 3 speaker load and clear,plenty of battery life. Convenient strap for hanging out of the way.

This is working as described. Sounds fantastic. Light weight and easy to carry .

Great sound quality that has the ability to travel across a large distance in & outdoors, very pretty red color. I got a carry strap & “case” to take it hiking—TGIW thank god it’s waterproof

Absolutely LOVE my little JBL speaker. This think is loud and amazing. I use it all the time everywhere. My coworkers love it as well!!!

It's a good sounding speaker, but doesn't hold the best charge outside if it's in the sun.

Previously owned the JBL charge 3 and this one definitely sounds a lot better. Of course because it’s newer but you definitely can hear the new and improved version of the charge.

Got it on black Friday sale... Plus insurance... Saved a bundle and it's protected by insurance.. what more can I ask for!

Great speaker overall compared to other portable speakers, but just like any other item, i must critique. The battery life could be way longer.

I love this speaker. I use it at work for 8 hours a day 5 days a week. I like the way it sounds. I think it sounds better then Bose.

Very good quality sound. Feels heavy and solid. Use it outside while working on projects. Have not yet used it for more than three hours while keeping a charge on my phone. Still had 2/3 charge left. Very pleased so far. Would recommend.

I originally bought this item, but decided to return it and exchange for Bose Link II. Bose sound quality rarely disappoints, but in this case it did. The JBL has far better sound and volume. So, i will make another trip and get the JBL back...

It sounds like a high end player. I know it's only rock and roll but I like it!
