Sounds pretty good. The range is very good. Battery life has been great.

I use it when kayaking...other than having to turn it down when someone tries to talk to me, this was worth the money.it lasted amazingly 6.5 hrs of non stop listening

Small speaker, great big sound! This speaker has amazingg sound especially for smaller spaces. However, when using it outside, it doesn’t disappoint either. JBL has really stepped up with their products.

I used to have the JBL Charge 3 and wanted to upgrade my speaker after so many years. I ended up coming back to JBL upgraded version and I promise you that you will not be disappointed. It has way too much to offer especially with being able to charge other devices.

2nd one to purchase. These are a rock solid little speaker. Long lasting per charge. This one happened to be a gift for a friend who has been around when I have mine in use. He is loving this speaker.

Great waterproof, portable speaker that allows you to charge your mobile device. I prefer the JBL Flip, even though it doesn’t charge your device, because it’s smaller/lighter/more portable with an attached carrying rope, plus it’s half the price, but the JBL Charge is a close second. It’s just a matter of preference. Both are great speakers.

Absolutely FANTASTIC speaker from JBL! I just bought the 3rd one for our family (finally one for me) because I was jealous of how great it was compared to the Bose speaker I had!! Highly recommend it!

It is mono speaker but can be paired with another JBL portable speaker to generate stereo sound. Sound quality is decent for its size and portability.

Chose this after reading the great reviews, and I am definitely more impressed than I thought I would be. It does perform better indoors than out doors, but that was expected.
