I had the charge 3 and now that the charge 3 gave out I thought I’d go ahead and buy the charge 5 and man is it good, big fan of the usb type c charger but kinds sucks that it came with no charging box but thats not a big deal.

This speaker has a very good sound quality and it has a good battery life. It’s very portable and reliable.

I was looking to replace my Bose mini soundlink after it quit playing. (5 years old) I wanted something small enough to fit on my toolbox, but with enough volume to fill the shop. The Jbl edges out Bose with the bass level.

Good sound; powerful. Replaced a smaller JBL speaker.

Overall a great product as the sound quality is really good and the size makes it easy to carry as it’s pretty lightweight.

So i got this a few days ago, and im disappointed. For how much it cost It could be a lot better. It claims it’ll last 20 hours on a full charge but each time I’ve had it, it only last about 4 1/2 hours. Granted I am playing it on full blast at work for my co-workers and I but still? What is the point? A speaker is supposed to be loud, and if the 20 hour claim is for the lowest volume then that is such a rip off for the price. And it won’t charge the battery while it’s playing. It’ll just keep it alive. Sad purchase, returning it tomorrow
