Bluetooth connection problems

I utilized the factory warranty and they sent me back a charge 4 which was not what I purchased. Bad quality warranty.

JBL is overrated

Thus, the speaker is rendered useless until it can be recharged.

Posted .Our JBL Charge 5 does not include a charging adapter in the box. You may use a power brick/adapter for your JBL Charge 5 that has 5V and at least 1A rating

Used it at the beach, got wet, and then fried two days into our vacation. BB return window is 15 days. Have to go thru JBL now to see about repairing or replacing.

We also recommend checking the charging port to see if there's any debris or bents. Clean if needed. Try charging the speaker overnight. If the issue still persists, please contact our customer support.
The older gen lasts longer.

In addition, please know that the battery wears out over time. Even if listening at maximum volume to heavy bass music, the battery should last longer than 60% of the published playtime. Posted .Thank you for your feedback about our JBL Charge 5. Sometimes, new or additional wireless activity near you may cause pairing corruption. Additionally, operating system or app updates can corrupt the pairing between the source device and the product. Refresh the pairing between the source device and the product. Turn product off. Forget/Unpair the product name from the source device. Reboot your source device. Turn the product on. Perform pairing. Try to connect a different source device to the product to determine if the problem is with the device or product. If you need more help, please contact customer support.

Posted .Please try a reset with your JBL Charge 5. Press and hold Volume+ & Play/Pause for 2 seconds while the speaker is on. The speaker will reboot indicating that the reset was successful.
Please note: If the Charge 5 was previously paired with any phones/tablets, please remove the speaker from your list of paired Bluetooth devices. Now it has been restored to its factory settings, it will automatically enter into pairing mode the first time you power it on.
Weak battery

Not waterproof

Our JBL Charge 5 is waterproof because it is rated IP67, which means it can be submerged in 1 meter (3.3 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes and is dust resistant.
