    Purchased and it was supposed to last 12 of play it died after 2 hours and doesn't hold charge

    This product will not turn on and I’ve only had it one month. The bright side is it has a warranty.

    DIED AFTER 1 WEEK! NO HELP FROM BEST BUY CUSTOMER SERVICE OR JBL THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE

      Thanks for reaching out. Please try to do a forced power cycle on your JBL Charge 5 by holding the power button for 30 seconds while it's not connected to a power supply or charger. You may also try using a different USB cable and chargers rated at least 2-amps. See if there's any sand or dirt in the speaker's charging port, then clean it with compressed air.     Not very loud and doesnt last a full 8 hours. I just missed the return window.

    Doesn’t work properly. There is a weird noise coming out of the speaker, like a buzzing noise.

    The quality is horrible! The sound makes static noise and the rubber bottom is coming off after 3 days of having it!

      Since the unit was purchased recently and the rubber is coming off as well as having static noises, you may have it replaced with a new one from the store where you bought the unit. JBL

    The portable speaker stop taking charge two months after the purchase. Now, it’s useless and I’m stock with a defective product.

    Party boost only works when using the speakers with your phone. It will not work with TV's or laptops.

      This PartyBoost feature will not work on a PC/Laptop.They can only connect to another Charge 5 for a stereo pair using the PartyBoost feature via the JBL Portable app (to switch between stereo mode and party mode).       Thanks for letting us know. Please know that it's possible that the battery is losing its capacity. Volume and usage can affect the battery's life. In addition, please know that the battery wears out over time. Even if listening at maximum volume to heavy bass music, the battery should last longer than 60% of the published playtime.       Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Here are some things to try that often fix these issues. If you have other charging cables, give them a try. (Be sure that the cable has the same type of connector as the original one that came with your product.). Same for the charger- if your product charges by USB, try a different USB charger. Be sure that it is rated at least 2.0a (2 amps) output. Try other electrical outlets at your location to be certain it is not a local wiring issue. Charge the product overnight for at least 8 hours. Check to see if there is dirt/dust on the charging port of the speaker. Check to see if there is damage/ bent pin/s on the charging port of the speaker. Try plugging the Cable to a Laptop/Computer.     JBL Charge 5 Review

    Just bought this from Best Buy in Topeka and the people there are so nice and helped me with everything. But this is about the speaker not the people. The speaker is great. It has a long lasting battery, great bass, and sounds outstanding. The power bank in the bottom has saved my phone from dying multiple times.
