Posted .We're sorry to hear about what happened. Our JBL Charge 5 should have at least 20 hours of playtime (depending on the music content and volume level). Here are some things to try that often fix these issues. Try a different USB cable. Try a different USB charger, rated at least 2 amps. Try disconnecting the cable from your product and re-inserting it. Sand or dirt can get into the product’s charging port. If necessary, check the port and clean it with compressed air or a toothpick. If you need more help, please contact our customer support so we can assist you.

You can try downloading 3rd party applications like an equalizer or a bass booster from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to enhance the sound quality of our JBL Charge 5.

Easy set up. Great gift for many age brackets.

The speaker quality seems to be pretty solid. We have utilized the portability of the unit many times, over the past week. I purchase the camo one, which may have been a bit unusual for both of us, but all of us really like it. This would be a great gift for many different age brackets.

The bass is super low and the highs are really well proportioned. I wasn’t sure this speaker could produce enough sound to fill the room but I was wrong. It most certainly does! I’m glad I bought it and I would not hesitate to buy it again.

It fares well when exposed to dust as well. This is my first speaker of this kind so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I’m glad I bought it. I was able to score it on sale.

He uses it while riding the golf cart,out by the pool even in the boat. I would certainly recommend this speaker.

This speaker is one of the best I’ve had

It has great sound quality and it’s can get really loud when at max volume. I use it all the time at work and I work in an Amazon warehouse so you know it’s really loud.
