I got it after getting the Flip 6 and disliking that speaker for similar reasons and exchanging for this one. The issues I have with both are short battery life. The Charge 5 says it can last 10+ hours. I barely made it past 3 on full volume. I use my speaker outdoors so I need it to be loud. Definitely false advertising. The sound at full volume also wasn't amazing, something that is also true of the Flip 6. I exchanged for a Sony SRS-XE300 after 2 days of it not lasting long enough after full charges.
