I was surprised how loud this speaker was, its more than enough sound for when I barbecue on the back patio, in the bathroom with the door closed the sound is off the charts, if you listen to bass heavy music I highly recommend, my cat hates it though

I purchased this hoping to get 10 hrs of the 20 hrs battery life it advertised and so far it’s lived up to that and more. I got 13 1/2 hrs one day in which I cut it off but the red light was flashing so it would have went longer. I am well pleased with this speaker. It sounds great and plays a long time .

This is a very good speaker. It's loud and has a very clearly defined upper range. It does not fill out the lower end as much as I'd like (had the Xtreme2 previously), but it acquits itself quite nicely compared to similarly priced speakers. I directly compared this to a buddies Megaboom3 and felt that the Charge5 sounded better overall. Note that the battery will drain very quickly from 60% volume on up. I bought this and sold my Xtreme2 because it's much easier to pack and travel with. I definitely recommend it.

This speaker really packs nice bass and it’s really waterproof I use it in the shower and by the pool. Looking forward to summer to bring it on the beach. I wouldn’t recommend changing your phone. The battery isn’t as long lasting when your charging a device.

I had heard this speaker at a different store and was impressed with the quality of the sound. When I saw it on sale at Best Buy, I immediately bought it. I am very pleased with the sound and ease of Bluetooth connection. It does not disappoint.

The speaker provides a very good sound and it is small and compact that it can be carried anywhere.

It’s perfect for almost any occasion. I’ve also submerged it, dropped it from 10’ onto concrete, dropped it dozens of more times in various settings. Really long batt life, too.

This our second speaker for our son … a few years back we got him the smaller one and he brings it every where (lax tournaments the kids just paired them all up) this one is a bit bigger and better for college dorm without being too big.

I purchased this speaker to replace an old one. The clarity and bass were head and shoulders above my old speaker. Pairing this was a breeze and being waterproof was a bonus. I would recommend this speaker. There was an update on this speaker when I purchased this and am now able to adjust an EQ in the app.

Love that I can sync multiple jbl speakers. I can have one inside and one outside when entertaining. The long battery life lets me take it on the go without having to constantly charge. The sound quality is remarkable for such a small speaker!

Battery lasts an entire work shift (8-9 hours) at high volume, and the sound is good for its size. I got it on sale with a Total Membership for $100, so it was a decent deal.
