Battery does not last for 20 hours, with indoor use I maybe get 12, MAYBE. It does have great sound & is well built, just be aware that under the best conditions you will not see the advertised 20 hours. I do love that it's water, dust & shock resistant.

Am I at a concert? This thing sounds beautiful and it charges my phone 0 to 100 while listening... and played for five hours at the beach.... get one you won't regret it

Sounds great last most the day full volume but not loud enough when im riding wide open on the 4 wheeler.

Really awesome speakers!!! Didn’t think that these small speakers could pack a punch in them and the sound also is clear. Plus have the option to link more speakers is a plus. Definitely buying another in the future. JBL ISN’T PLAYIN AROUND!!!

Both the sound on the bass and trebble is clear and sharp. the charge lasts a long time. It is not too big or too small.

Purchased this one for my boyfriend to use in his garage. He's an old school guy & he even says it's easy to operate. He loves it! Excellent sound quality, these things really do pack a punch! Cool design as well!

The JBL charge 5 is a fantastic speaker with great bass and sound! It's a little bigger than the other charges but maintains it's portability fairly well. Overall it's a great speaker at a good price. Well worth every cent!

Finally got a waterproof JBL after years of using a waterlogged Charge 2. Sounds amazing and the battery lasts a long time

This was a tough one, as an avid Sonos fan I was going back and forth but just couldn’t get past the reviews on the Sonos Roam. I just want a speaker to work and this thing works like a charm, deep bass, clear tones. Yes it’s bigger than the Roam but who cares when it works.

I bought this speaker for a backyard pool party. I was initially concerned that the speaker wouldn’t be loud enough for the size of the backyard. Well I was wrong! The speaker was loud and had great bass. It’s light enough to carry around in a backpack. The battery life I’m not sure about because. I used it out of the box for the party and it did die within hour 3 with the assumption of the battery wasn’t on a full charge. It will be interesting to see for the next party how long it lasts on a full charge! I highly recommend and it is now on sale so even better.

This product it awesome the battery life is outstanding. I use this for all kinds of out side activities fishing, family reunions, bubble parties with the kids, working on cars, or just hangout with my buddies.

Works great. The convenience of being able to charge something from the speaker is awesome, and makes the product very versatile. The amps in either side are quite cool as well

Great color, sound quality and functionality. Awesome battery life. I also like that the device has a charging port for my device. Only nuisance is that I have to keep reconnecting my device when the speaker goes to sleep.
