I am very happy with this speaker. It gives out plenty of sound and is loud enough for the outdoors. It fell off my car the second day I had it and did sustain some damage but only cosmetic. Still sounds great.

So I was torn between the Flip 6, Charge 5 and the Extreme 4. After testing all of them out at the store, I wanted a bit more punch than the Flip 6, but I didn't need all of the high power of the Extreme 4, and it was a bit more than I was willing to spend. The Charge 5 fits right in the middle and is perfect for my home gym and cookouts. I can tell it has very high build quality and looks great. The sound is incredible and it can crank pretty loud for a unit of this size. They all sounded great, and you really can't go wrong with any of them, but I personally think this is the best value out of the lineup. This can definitely suffice for most people's needs.

Big sound for a small device. I have the JBL extreme 3, the Charge5 and the clip. You might ask why so many? Trust me that they all serve their purpose. There will be time when u want the big boom and times when you just want a lighter sound but with some umph. JBL speakers are a proven sound machine.

I’ve had the JBL Charge 5 in red for a while now, and I honestly can’t imagine life without it. The color is stunning—it’s bold and vibrant, and it always stands out wherever I take it. The jbl charge is Perfect and very portable! I love that you can pair with other jbl speakers and the charging feature in case your other devices need a charge is cool. Would buy again!
