With the app i can adjust the E.Q. Which makes it very good for bass control. Not to mention the ability to link to other JBL portables for a stereo party mode.

It FLOATS!

Not worth a darn while it’s in the water, but it’s nice to know if it falls in the pool or off the kayak, then it’s going to be easy to retrieve. :) I like that this has USB C for a charging port. I DISLIKE how the function buttons blend in with the overall speaker color and are not contrasting to stand out in some better way.

I had to return that speaker because it was too powerful. The JBL Boombox 3 is not meant for enclosed spaces. Best Buy was gracious enough to take it back and I got the JBL Charge5 which works fantastic. It is powerful and sounds terrific.
