This is one of the best speakers I have ever owned. Water proof always good to have at pool side keeps the party going. Battery lasts for hours and it charges fast. Sound quality doesn’t get affected by battery life.

Great sounding speaker and the battery last a long time. Sound fills up the downstairs area very well. Battery was already charged when I opened the box. It didn't come with a USB charging cable so that is my only complaint. Battery lasted for a whole day, including the evening. Bluetooth connection has a great range and connected quickly and easily.

Love these JBL speakers! I was hoping to set up an outdoor net of wireless speakers with my old JBL but these new ones wouldn’t communicate. I bought the red one first but then needed to get the blue one to complete my net. Oh well…great sound quality and booming volume with bass. Battery seems to last forever.

Sounds great and holds charge well. Very crisp and clear and the bass is perfect! It gets loud enough party up my whole backyard which is pretty impressive for it’s size. Love the camo color HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Absolutely Love our portable speaker, it plays loud and holds a charge great. Also water resistant for summer days by the pool. Very easy to use as well and connect through bluetooth.

My brother has a similar speaker and brought it on our family vacation. Loved the portability, easy Bluetooth connectivity and sound! So we decided we needed one for our summer camp to take on golf cart rides! We bought a slightly different speaker but it is a JBL. We love it!

Had previously purchased one of these for my wife to take with her on those pool days. I was very impressed with the sound quality that I purchased a second one (for me) to use in the garage while completing items on my "To-Do-List" This thing is AWESOME. I also tried out the "PartyBoost" feature. It basically converted my family room into a night club. The charging capability of a USB device is also a very nice feature. The battery life on this truly amazing. If you're looking for a portable Bluetooth Speaker this one is a "No Brainer" you will be completely satisfied in its performance, durablity and ease of use.

Great sound. Very portable. Great battery life. We have an older version and the new one has better bass. If you are looking for a portable bluetooth speaker this is a good one to get.

I've been buying JBL stuff, for over 20 years. So when I wanted a decent portable Bluetooth speaker I had no questions about the which brand. However. I saw this was water "proof," and claims long battery life and even charging abilities. Thise were just bonuses. I've had it for a week now. Use it all thr time. It's bass is better than expected, and the sound quality is very good regardless of vastly different types of music. I expected it might struggle on max volume, with so much bass. But it does fine. Seems to handle wet environment well. Haven't used it's charging feature yet. Excellent product. Great performance. Decent price, for what i think will be something I use often, for many years. For me the size of this speaker is just right, neither too big nor small. Too small means too much compromise on sound quality and loudness, too big and it starts being less portable. About the sound quality, well it’s not neutral or flat. It’s clearly optimized for exteriors and to play rock, pop or electronic music and it does so very well. Construction. It feels and looks very durable, only time will tell though. Nice extras. The speaker can easily connect to other jbl speakers that use the same protocol. Emphasis on easily. Other speakers considered: Sonos roam and jbl flip 5. Both smaller and more portable. Flip 5 , didn’t like the sound quality, too tinny. Sonos roam didn’t get the chance to listen to it but many reviewers mentioned it’s small sound plus it costs about the same as the larger charge 5

Speaker connects easily & plays very well. Music is loud & clear. Nice that the speaker is waterproof. You can connect two phones to it. Great battery life, don't have to charge very often.

I have owned a few of these. Battery and sou d is great. Size is very reasonable. I love that its water resistant. Bonus feature, charging your phone while using it.

As to be expected from JBL, the sound quality from this speaker is great, even with heavier base. Sounds do not get distorted and spund clear at all volumes. It does take a bit to charge but it lasts quite a bit depending on one's usage. Being able to charge other items like your phone or tablet on the go is a plus. We owned the previous versions as well and they have lasted years, we just wanted to upgrade. Pairing multiple devices also gives the illusion of surround sound, which is pretty cool. Worth the price!

Awesome sound, can be heard from far! Long lasting battery. Exceptional quality. Highly recommend. Perfect size to throw and take it along on trips.
