This little speaker is worth the money. Great value! The sound quality is better than my old UE mega boom. It’s lite and portable, I was even able to find a cool carry case for it. Battery lasts a long time and it’s completely water resistant! It’s been dropped in lake off a friends boat and worked like a charm once I jumped in and got it out.

Love this thing. Grandsons said round and about this long. I know JBL is a very good audio reproduction company. It shows with this thing. Loud enough to make folks in our garage yell to talk. Lol. Didn't leave it up like that but it's loud with good BASS for just that heavy thing. So the charge part is great. Charged 3 phones with much power to spare. Price point is rught on.

Bought this item in Honolulu, HI. I was looking for a portable waterproof speaker with good sound quality and this was it! You can use this thing anywhere, on the beach, camping, at the lake, on a boat, working on the car, or anywhere you can think of where you want to listen to music.

We got 2 charge5’s when they were on sale. I had the 1st gen jbl flip for years and loved it. No other bt speaker we’ve had came close to the quality of sound it had. The charge5 is much louder, and bigger. I kinda wish I’d bought 1 flip and 1 charge 5, because I miss the easier transportability of the flip’s size. Jbl has an app you can download to access the speaker and tune the equalizer to your preference. The sound is impressive. It does not come with a sleeve like the flips used to. Also, not sure you get twenty hours of battery. We’ve only tested it once, and it spent some time in the car in exceptionally hot weather, not sure if that affected it, but we got about 10-12 hours without charging. The sound quality is still far beyond anything else that we’ve owned owned. I can’t speak to the durability yet, because we just haven’t had them long enough, but they seem pretty solid. Very happy with the purchase thus far.

Great sound with great bass. The speaker has a very full sound that can easily fill an average sized room. The JBL app on my iPhone allows me to fine-the sound levels. Being waterproof it s perfect for playing around a swimming pool or the bwach.

Great sound at a fair price. The durability and portability of this speaker make it well worth it and the JBL sound packed into this size is hard to beat.

This is my second JBL speaker and it works great. It is very loud and has great sound quality overall. The only negative I can see is it is very heavy but probably due to the beefy amplifier inside. I like that it is water resistant as well. You can also link other JBL speakers with the push of a button.

Absolutely love this speaker. Its a bit pricey, but you certainly get what you pay for. Sound does not disappoint whatsoever. Incredibly loud and phenomenal bass for the size. Lasts forever on a single charge and charges very fast. Makes a great party speaker, or just something for the shower. Pros: Sound Bass Battery Life Feels high quality Cons: None as of yet

This product is probably the best you can buy in it's price range. The sound fills up the room, but the best part in my opinion is the very long lasting battery life off a single charge. Also, this speaker has an EQ app you can download on your phone, and yes, the bass turns up to be pretty loud for such a small speaker.

I love JBL speakers and bave always owned them. The Charge 4 I used for a couple of years until I bought the 5 and it is considerably better quality and much easier to use. I highly recommend it for the price.

Got this for the summer to pack on river trips. The sound is amazing and definitely waterproof as it took a swim off the tubes a few times. Charge is amazing and lasted three tube trips of a few hours each without recharging. Sound is crisp and very loud when needed. Would recommend this speaker for any outside journeys.

Sound good. Battery life good. Quality good. The only thing I would do to make it even better is have a little handle on it or something.. That way I could tie it to something else, especially if I’m doing outdoorsy things given that it’s water proof and dust proof. Still love it though! It has some pretty cool features.

I love this speaker. I actually have one but bought another one for a wedding gift. I highly recommend JBL wireless. The sound is amazing and its a durable speaker. Very portable. We have other wireless ones but this one we use the most. I love the color range they come in too.

Bought this to replace an aging bose soundlink. The sound is comparable to the bose at low volume. Where it really shines is a mid to high volume. The bass is much deeper and sound remains clearer at higher volumes better than the bose. While not quite as compact as the bose, it is still easily portable.
