Posted .Thanks for your feedback. Many devices now default to Absolute Volume, but can be changed to Independent Volume in the device settings. If your device is currently set to Independent Volume, it is possible that one or both of the volume settings are set too low to give you adequate volume. Please try adjusting the device volume to 75%-100% and adjust the volume of the speaker to your desired level. If the issue persists, we'd like to work with you directly to address the issues you're experiencing with your JBL Charge 5 and provide other troubleshooting steps. Please contact our customer support.

Nice Sound but Power Issues

Becomes a problem if you want to take it somewhere and its dead by the time you want to use it because it will not power down. I have looked it up online and all of the troubleshooting methods did not work. Had it 6 days over the return period so I cannot return.l

You have to turn it off and then on again to remedy the problem, but it returns quickly and it is extremely irritating for an expensive speaker. Bluetooth is reprehensible technology in its current state as it is, but this speaker exasperates that fact even more. It's almost unusable. If it were to function properly on a consistent basis, it would be worthy of some praise, so that is the only reason why it is not 1 star.

Posted .Thanks for your feedback. We're always looking for ways to improve. To help you with your JBL Charge 5. Please check the equalizer settings of your phone and set it to default. We also recommend trying to connect it with a different device or play audio using a different application. You may also try doing a Factory Reset by pressing and holding the "Volume +" and "Play" buttons at the same time for more than 3 seconds unit will power Off by itself. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.
