I am really surprised from the sound quality coming from this little speaker. The bass is great along with the mids and highs. Battery life is good, overall very pleased with my purchase.

I BOUGHT ONE FOR MYSELF AND OH MY THIS SPEAKERS HAS GREAT BASE, VOLUME, CLARITY, GOOD BATTER LIFE. I DID PURCHASE THE JBL FLIP 5 AND RETURNED IT FOR THE JBL CHARGE 5 AND MY OPINION THE FLIP DIDN'T COMPARE TO THE CHARGE 5. DON'T GET ME WRONG THE FLIP IS STILL IS A GREAT SPEAKER.

It sounds great and gets pretty loud for its size. One i would recommend though is to download the JBL portable app so you can see the battery life more accurately as well as use the equalizer.

sound is very crisp, long battery life. provides excellent bass and not everpowribg treble. covers a whole bedroom without any issue. perfect for the beach as well.

Best speaker ive ever owned! This little speaker has great bass, its clear, projects sound perfectly. My only complaint is it doesnt warn you when the battery is almost dead, It just turns off.

This speaker is amazing. My bf and myself use it everyday we've dropped it and gotten water on it and it still works like a charm. the charge last a very long time i donnt even know how often we charge it. definitely recommend

Got this as a Christmas item for a family member and I still have a to this day with no issues or problems. They have taken it to cruises vacations and even to the beach and I have not seen any problems with this speaker. It is one of my favorite brands as well And I do have a couple that are over five years old that still work To the day

Great speaker! I was very impressed with the sound quality and surprisingly good bass. Purchased 2 for stereo effects in the garage. No issues with it getting wet while riding along in my kayak. Love it!

This little speaker has great sound. And decent battery life and easy to connect.

My son loves it.. Sounds great. Battery charge so far is pretty good. Teenage boys forget alot.. even charging speakers and have not had an issue so far.

We live in Utah and love to go camping, plus I love music. I had a pain-in-the-behind Sony Bluetooth speaker that was more trouble than it was worth to use. A few months ago I decided to try the JBL Charge 5 speaker... wow, what a great sound! And it is amazingly convenient!! I have let it run all day and still haven't run the battery out. I love it and highly recommend it!

This unit is a great size...its can fit in a carryon bag perfectly. It connects very fast and easily. The sound is loud and clear, just the way i like it. Would highly recommend it.
