I upgraded to this from a JBL Flip 6. Better sound, longer battery life and a charging outlet port. At first feels a little builky, but only because the Flip 6 is so trim. The slight "football" shape makes it easy to handle and the nonskid base holds position much better than the Flip 6. Altogether a better option for a travel speaker.

These things are the best made speakers ever! The battery life, the clarity, and durability of this brand is insane! We have used JBL speakers for awhile and they never disappoint.

This little speaker packs a punch on the sound and bass. Its a little on the expensive side but is well worth it. I would defenitely recomend it.

This thing is reallly loud, and doesn't carry extremely far. So at a campsite, your camping neighbors won't be too disturbed. Don't be mistaken. You have to turn the music down to hear the person next to you. The bass is great too. If placed on a wooden bench, the bench will vibrate. I love the grip strips on the bottom that hold the speaker in place. I'm quite clumsy so I have dropped it a few times, and it's durable enough to not make a dent. The best speaker I've ever owned. I haven't tested the waterproof feature.

Love this speaker! Finally upgraded from the JBL Flip 3 I've had for years, and it was a great purchase. The sound quality is pristine, and it has linking capabilities with similar JBL speakers so you can practically create your own surround sound. The battery life is great as well. I can listen for hours upon hours with just one charge. I absolutely recommend this speaker.

I’ve been using this at work for a year. The sound quality depths and mids are rich and highs subtle. Blows away Rockville's ceiling speaker. No comparison. I also had the flip first but the Charge 5 is far superior.
