Very potent little thing 15 years old son having a great time with it.

2nd one to purchase. These are a rock solid little speaker. Long lasting per charge. This one happened to be a gift for a friend who has been around when I have mine in use. He is loving this speaker.

This bluetooth speaker has it all. It's lighyweight, portable, great battery life, and packs a big punch. Looking forward to buying a second one to get that stereo sound when you pair them. This speaker by itself really brings out the music though. Volume can be turned up louder than you might need and it'll still maintain that high audio quality JBL is known for. The equalizer in the app allows you to customize the sound to your liking which is a big plus.

Little thing packs a punch. Sounds great at mid-volume (which is still super loud). Starts to get crackly at full volume. Cant beat it for the size and price.

We use this in our kids room for music to help him fall asleep. Works AMAZING and is very durable, trust a father of a 3 year old and a 1 year old.

I had originally purchased a Charge 3 years ago. One of my brothers also had a 3. They are great for syncing together at family events and my other brother was the convinced to buy the Charge 4 and wanted to borrow mine. After trying to sync my 3 with his 4, I read up on upgrading the firmware to make it compatible with the 4 (Jbl Connect to Jbl Connect+). However my other brother with a 3 didn’t want to upgrade because he often synced his with a friend that still had Connect. After forgetting my Charge 3 at home while on a two week trip, I purchased a Charge 5 expecting it to be able to sync with others via Connect+. Im disappointed to discover that now there is another update that is not backwards compatible with syncing old models. This was a main reason why i bought it. They other thing i really liked about the Charge 3 was the ability to use it as a external phone charger when needed. Unfortunately, while the Charge 5 does have a USB port for charging external devices, it doesn’t really work for the latest phones like iphone 13 Plus. Also the missing prev track and next track buttons. Overall, I would recommend anyone with a Charge 3 or 4 to stick with those models, because the charge feature is no better on the 5 and a slightly better sound quality doesn’t make up for the lack of backwards compatibility.

I used to have the JBL Charge 3 and wanted to upgrade my speaker after so many years. I ended up coming back to JBL upgraded version and I promise you that you will not be disappointed. It has way too much to offer especially with being able to charge other devices.
