It has a very good bass when I play music inside my room especially when I connect it on the Roku app for my TV. It sounds like I’m in a movie theater after adjusting the bass on the JBL Portable app. My music sounds more acoustic when I’m playing music outside, but it still sounds good! I highly recommend this speaker! It’s a good upgrade from a JBL Flip 5. I can connect both the Flip 5 and Charge 5 together to play music at the same time!

I am very happy with this speaker. It gives out plenty of sound and is loud enough for the outdoors. It fell off my car the second day I had it and did sustain some damage but only cosmetic. Still sounds great.

Use this speaker everyday and shocked at the build quality since I drop it often and not a single scratch. The price to sound quality is also very nice highly recommend y'all

Needed an updated Bluetooth speaker. Chose this one because of it's size, waterproof, and the ability to charge other devices. I was impressed with the sound. Used it paired with a phone for music and a laptop to watch streaming while traveling. Both sound good.

Great performance and terrific sound at a good price! So good, bought one with a gift card, then bought a 2nd at a sale price! Party mode is great but in stereo, absolutely amazing! Using them when teaching my class has made them popular due to portability, sound, and price!

For such an inexpensive and smaller speaker I love this! It has great bass, sound and you can control it from the jbl app.Im not sure how high it goes because I’ve yet to turn it that high but it’s a great little speaker.

I’ve gotta say this is a wonderful speaker and to have it be waterproof makes it even better. I take this to the gym with me all the time and man does it bump. Definitely recommended. Only downside is how fragile the sides are because of the subwoofer. Overall happy with my purchase. ❤️

Great Portable Speaker! The battery life is great, sound quality is awesome. I bring the speaker with me to parties, beach, pool. The range is great, I was a bit skeptical, since I have a Sony speaker that the battery dies very fast, but JBL didn’t disappoints recommend this product 100%

Long lasting battery, high quality sound, and loud volume for groups/parties!

Big sound for a small device. I have the JBL extreme 3, the Charge5 and the clip. You might ask why so many? Trust me that they all serve their purpose. There will be time when u want the big boom and times when you just want a lighter sound but with some umph. JBL speakers are a proven sound machine.

So I was torn between the Flip 6, Charge 5 and the Extreme 4. After testing all of them out at the store, I wanted a bit more punch than the Flip 6, but I didn't need all of the high power of the Extreme 4, and it was a bit more than I was willing to spend. The Charge 5 fits right in the middle and is perfect for my home gym and cookouts. I can tell it has very high build quality and looks great. The sound is incredible and it can crank pretty loud for a unit of this size. They all sounded great, and you really can't go wrong with any of them, but I personally think this is the best value out of the lineup. This can definitely suffice for most people's needs.
