This is amazing speaker quality and sound great. I use it in a 12,000 square-foot Ray shop and it works great.

Pretty good speaker. Haven't relied on the battery charging option as much as advertised since I'm usually playing music. Sound quality is there compared to other Charge models I've used in the past, but the change in design is a nice change of pace. Reliable for the price as well as being able to link to JBLs as this brand suggests.

The JBL Charge 6 is now out and simply better in a lot of ways. I wouldn't go so far as to say if you have a Charge 5 you should sell or pitch it in favor of a Charge 6, it's still decent. It still brings enough that unless it's physical state is affected or you have money to burn you don't need an upgrade. However for those debating between a Charge 5 or a Charge 6, yes I know there's a considerable price difference, especially with the Charge 5 being easier to find on sale, but still, to new buyers the Charge 6 offers plenty more than enough to fully validate the price difference. If you have this one, keep it and enjoy it, but if you don't have either, get the Charge 6. It's that simple.

I love JBL items but I haven't had the speaker a year and the speakers blew out. I only buy JBL items now cause of the quality
